"is mark really straight or is it just a joke?" jaemin asked jeno curiously as they both walked around the park waiting until jaemin had to go in for work.

and when he did two hours from now, jeno would follow and sit behind the counter anyways. jaemin noticed that jaehyun had grown a liking towards jeno with how polite he is and whatnot. hell he even helped restock every night when jaemin was busy.

jeno was free that night and since his parents were never home, he didn't know what else to do. besides, even if his parents were home, he'd want to spend time with jaemin more than them anyways.

he hummed "it's just a joke. jisung calls it a conspiracy, but he's told us he's bi." jeno answered looking forward not paying any attention to the fact that the back of jaemin's hand was brushing up against his.

in truth though, it really was driving him insane. it has been since they walked out of school, but he didn't want to give it any attention.

jaemin made an 'o' with his mouth before speaking again "ahh so he's bi." he mumbled "then why does donghyuck keep saying he's straight? shouldn't he have known because of gossip around school when they were in middle school?"

"he's only ever came out to us." jeno admitted "us being renjun, jisung and i. mark isn't homophobic at all if you're wondering that too. hell he's bi. he doesn't treat hyuck like that because he's gay, he insults him and what not because hyuck did it first."

"but isn't it bad to add fuel to the fire?" jaemin asked his eyes now plastered on the side of jeno's face.

"yes. but mark never really knew donghyuck's insults were and are genuinely empty. mark actually likes someone, that someone being a boy, but he won't tell us who it is." he explained with a click of his tongue.

"i'm sure after today, and after jisung became donghyuck's personal body guard and threatened to hit him if he hurt hyuck one more time, he'll apologize. he better. i'll even hit him if i have - what the fuck." jeno stoped speaking and began to swing his hand around seeing that a bee had gotten in his face making his nose scrunch up and whatnot.

this made the younger beside him burst out into a fit of giggles seeing how jeno was practically karate chopping the air now.

it took jeno a while to finally be sure that the bee was out of his way and when it finally was, that's when he noticed jaemin giggling beside him.

that was cute

and before he could say anything stupid, jeno crossed his arms and huffed acting like he was upset that jaemin was giggling over his small life and death ordeal with an insect that wouldn't have even touched him if he didn't decide to fuck around with it.

"awe nono, i'm sorry for laughing! it's just kinda funny seeing your face get all messed up over a bee." jaemin snickered, but jeno didn't react.

inside though jeno was an absolute mess hearing jaemin call him nono. honestly speaking, it made his whole day ten times better than it already was.

but instead, he kept walking forward an annoyed look on his face and it almost made jaemin panic until he realized what he was doing.
