EARTH TO NA JAEMIN??

jaemin sluggishly dragged himself to school the next morning. which wasn't a first considering the fact he has done it multiple times, but this definitely was the first time he felt so shitty doing so.

since it was near the end of september, the weather was getting much colder. and jaemin hated walking out in the cold, especially when it snowed because his school gave no fucks and never has snow days.

they didn't allow them. that's why. for what reason, jaemin didn't know.

it wasn't until he was halfway to school when a specific boys back caught his eye, instantly making him wake, eyes shooting open, and posture becoming straight.

he never really liked walking to school unless jaemin met up and walked with him, but for some reason, he was walking without him which made jaemin wonder why.

"it's either he knows i'm walking behind him," jaemin mumbled quietly to himself. "or he needs extra exercise because he's been eating too much lately?"

"it's the first one."

jaemin immediately turned his head to his left to see his blonde haired friend walking next to him with a large grin etched on his face. "what he heck chenle?"

the said boy hummed as he slung an arm over jaemin's shoulders. "good morning to you too nana!" he exclaimed with a playful giggle.

he was awfully awake and bubbly for someone who had had just woken up maybe about an hour ago.

jaemin sighed. "what is it that you want?"

to which chenle dramatically put his free hand over his heart, his facial expression turning from happy to one of an offended individual. "can i not walk with my best friend to school? am i committing a crime?"

chenle then took his hand and reached it out slightly, placing it on jaemin's cheek and turning his head so he looked at him. "sigh, i never thought it'd be like this! four years in prison for the felony of loving your friends."

"this is why i think you should've been a drama kid." the honey haired boy removed his friends hand off of his face and turned his head back so he was facing jeno's back.

he sighed, slightly sad that jeno didn't go in last night. though, his friends did. renjun, jisung, and mark all went in and bought their food and when jaemin asked why jeno couldn't make it, they all said he was going through a crisis.

that only made him frown and jaemin decided to stock the snacks after they had left which lead to the whole jaehyun wanting taeil's number dilemma.

though he was upset knowing it was his fault why jeno didn't go, he was happy for jaehyun and taeil who had came out of jaehyun's office with messy hair and swollen lips.

jaemin smiled softly when he saw the blushes spread across their cheeks and fingers intertwined with each other's.

but grimaced when he noticed the big blotchy marks on taeil's neck. what a mess, it looked like he was mauled by a vampire.
