jaehyun didn't know how and why he decided to let jaemin drag him along to his schools basketball game.

he had work to do, jaemin had work to do. yet here they were sitting on the bleachers of jaemin's schools gym.

while jaemin was busy chatting with his friends jaehyun learned names were donghyuck and chenle he was currently looking down at the people who were gonna announce the game.

ahh. yuta nakamoto and kim doyoung.

people used to call them their schools power couple, and damn right they were cause even up till now those losers were still together.

jaehyun was slightly jealous of the relationship they had.

least they made it through high school together

sighing, his eyes then averted to look at something else and they widened when he saw his god damned ex.

so, this is why jaemin wanted to take him with so badly.

"na jaemin what the fuck." he cursed snapping his head to look at jaemin who looked back at him clueless. there he goes again.

"why is taeil here?" jaehyun growled lowly as jaemin snorted at his tone of voice "he works here, hyung."

donghyuck and chenle made an o with their mouths when they realized why jaemin was literally six feet up jaehyun's ass pestering him to tag along.

"wait, mr. moon? our chemistry teacher?" chenle questioned looking down at the dark haired male with his head in his hands.

donghyuck also looked down at him "he looks distressed about something. basketball games are supposed to be fun."

jaemin hummed and nodded "i'm gonna go talk to him." he told them as he got up and hopped down the bleachers.

jaehyun simply watched as jaemin approached taeil putting his arms around him making taeil look up at him with what jaehyun guessed was a smile.

it was cute to say the least. jaehyun knew something was up with jaemin and taeil, he knew jaemin was practically living with him. though the reason was unknown, he knew that the two had definitely grown closer.

he wishes he was in jaemin's place though. he wanted to be the reason why taeil smiled. but right know it was the complete opposite. it was basically:

jaemin = a happy smiling taeil

jaehyun = a sad crying taeil

practically on taeil's lap, jaehyun could hear the way jaemin was making taeil laugh.

and fuck did jaehyun miss listening to it.

"so." that singular word from donghyuck was enough to snap him out of his thoughts.

the two scooted closer to jaehyun eyes boring into his soul.

"what'd you do to mr. moon?" donghyuck asked wiggling his eyebrows "and why is jaemin so close to him?"

"yeah he looks closer to him than us!" chenle yelled in a hushed voice, jaehyun sighing with a bite of his lip before he spoke.
