Aquarium visit

Mr. Bernolds

Hello, my name is William Bernolds and I'm 42 years old. I'm a Marine Biology teacher at Goode High and today my students from senior year and I are visiting the most famous aquarium of New York: Ω-Seaworld.
The only thing I'm scared of is that Percy Jackson will do something that will get him into trouble, again. He's a good boy, really. Maybe not the smartest but he has a good personality. The only thing that makes it hard to teach him is his ADHD, dyslexia and of course his talent of getting into trouble. Really that boy does strange things. Once I saw him stabbing a poodle with a ruler... never mind, back to our trip.
The whole class was super exited only Percy not for some reason. It surprised me. Normally he would be one of the first to get excited for these kind of things.
We walked to the entrance and waited for our guide. In the corner of my eye I saw Percy putting up the cap of his hoodie and standing in the back of the group where he was barely visible. It seemed like he was trying to hide himself or something. I didn't get the chance to ask him about it though because the guide started talking. She looked in her late twenties.
"Good morning everyone . I'm Amelia and I will be your guide for today. Welcome to Ω-Seaworld."
She led us into the building and started explaining things.
" Ω-Seaworld is one of the biggest Aquariums in the USA. We have more than thousand different species of fish and many sea creatures in our basins. Today I will show you a lot of fish, our biggest hunters and you will meet the wife of our head trainer and boss, who has designed this building and helps managing this aquarium."

After a 2 hour tour full of fascinating animals and lots of funny facts, we finally arrived at the shark tank. It was enormous. It was more than 20 meters wide and 4 meters tall.
" This is our Shark Tank."
Amelia started.
"We have more than 20 different sorts of sharks and a lot of-"
"AAAAAAA"
I turned in the directions of the sound. Emily was screaming and pointing at 2 sharks in the basin. They were fighting and it didn't looked good. One of the sharks was bleeding and they both were trying to bite the other. Amelia tried to calm us down but was in shock herself. "J-just trie to calm down everyone. This is nothing serious, just..."
She looked around searching for help but there was nobody else in the room beside us.
" Calm down, Amelia."
I turned around and saw Percy coming closer to Amelia. He had taken off his hood.
"M-m-mr. Jackson! I-I didn't know y-you were here! I-"
"It's alright. Call Glen and Thomas and ask them to come as fast as they can. Also warn Dr. Jonathan. Tell him it's an emergency. I will need his help with healing Jale and Nold. And don't forget warning Annabeth!"
I stood perplex. What was this kid thinking?! Commanding a staff member while there are sharks who need help!
"Mr. Jackson! What are you doing?"
Percy looked at me.
"Telling her what to do..."
he said as if it was the most logical thing to do.
"You can't just go demanding people around! Especially not now!"
Amelia tried to say something but Percy interrupted her.
"Don't. Go call the others. I need them as fast as possible."
Amelia nodded and ran off with her phone in her hand.
When she was gone Percy did the stupidest thing I had ever seen him do. He started stripping off his clothes, revealing his bright yellow swimming trunks. Before I even could say a thing he started running and jumped on a pipe on the side of the basin. Then he climbed to the top and pulled himself on the edge. This boy was crazy!!! He would get himself killed!!
"Jackson!!!!"
I jelled.
"I said come down right now!!! You're going to get in trouble!! You will hurt yourself!!!"
He didn't listen and dived into the pool without hesitating. That moment a young woman entered the room. She had curly blond hair and intriguing grey eyes. She couldn't be older than 19. She was wearing a woman's suit and her hair was up in a bun. In her hands she held a clipboard.
" Let me guess... the sharks started fighting, he stripped off his clothes, did some crazy things and jumped into the basin with the fighting sharks."
I stared at her wide mounted, she just said it like it was something ordinary. I nodded.
"Excuse me but who are you?"
I asked.
"I'm mrs. Jackson, the head architect but you can call me Annabeth."
She extended her hand and I shook it.
"YOU are the wife of the boss?" She nodded.
"But you're only 19"
"Well I'll be 20 in less than a month but yeah, I'm 19."
How could an 19 year old girl run a company like this?
"And by the way, I'm also the head of the Athenian Architecture firm."
That was to much for me. She is 19 for gods sake.
Three more people came in. Amelia and two men came running towards us. One of the men was wearing a diving suit and the other looked like and veterinarian.
"Mrs. Jackson!"
Annabeth turned to the men.
"Glen couldn't come we will need your help."
She nodded.
"Alright, you two go ahead. I will come as fast as I can."
They nodded and ran off, probably to the back off the basins.
"Amelia stay with Percy's class. I'm going to help them."
She stripped off her suit and blouse and revealed her swimming suit. Just like Percy she ran up to the pipe, climbed to the edge off the pool and dived in.
In the meantime Percy had separate the two sharks but one of them was badly injured. Annabeth swam towards Percy and did some hand gestures. He nodded and seemed to start talking to injured shark. The shark looked at Annabeth and followed her while she swam up for air. Seeing that reminded me of something. Percy hadn't even once come up for air. Shouldn't he have drowned already?
Annabeth swam back underwater and lead the shark to a closed basin where the man with the diving suit just jumped in. Percy petted the other shark and followed them. He closed the bassin and helped the others to get the shark in the medical section. I wanted to know what would happen next but Amelia told us to follow her and give them some privacy.

An hour later they came back, wearing new clothes, laughing and talking with the employees. They stopped right in front of us and tried to get everyone's attention.
"Hey guys!"
Percy yelled. Everyone stopped talking and looked up at Percy, who was standing on a chair.
"I'm guessing you all want an explanation, am I right?"
They nodded.
"Well... first: like you all just saw, I'm the head trainer and boss of this company so that's why I jumped in that basin. Now I think about it..."
he frowned.
"I must have look like a total idiot!"
We all laughed.
"When are you not?"
Annabeth said. Percy rolled his eyes at her commend.
"And second, I would like you all to meet my wife, Annabeth."
Annabeth smiled and turned to Percy.
"I think they already figured that out when Amelia called me Mrs. Jackson."
I looked at my right and saw a blush forming on Amelia's cheeks.
Minutes later, everyone had started talking again and I questioned Amelia and dr. Jonathan about the wounded shark. In the corner of my eye I saw Percy hugging Annabeth from behind and giving her an kiss on her forehead. They were a cute couple. I hope they would have a happy future together...

Sorry for the late update. I stayed at my grandma's and went out with a friend so I forgot to update. Hope you all enjoyed!!!!!
