Percabeth kids oneshot. Zoë is about 5 years old and Luke 7. Enjoy!!!!

Zoë's POV

"Zoë! Look at this!"
Luke said. I looked up from my drawing of the Empire State Building and saw Luke sitting in front of small blue box.
"Look at what?"
I asked as I put my pencil down.
"This!"
He said and waved with something that looked like a picture.
I hopped of the chair and joined him on the living floor. Luke was holding a somewhat older looking photograph with 2 people in it. They looked not older than 12.
"Who are they?"
I asked my older brother. He shrugged.
"I don't know, but this whole box is filled with pictures of them. Look."
On the second picture you could see the same boy and girl, but then the two of them sitting at the beach talking with some other kids. An other one showed the two of them snuggled up together at a campfire, only now they looked a bit older. Maybe a year of 13-14. The girl looked quite the opposit of the boy. She had curly blond hair, while the boy had straight black hair.
"Why would grandma Sally keep a box of pictures of 2 kids?"
Luke thought out loud. I shrugged.
"I don't kno-"
"What are you two doing there?"
A warm voice asked, bringing the smell of cookies inside the room.
Luke jumped up, clumsily hiding the box behind him.
"Nothing grandma Sally. We were just-"
"Talking!"
I jumped in.
"About that book that mommy gave me yesterday. It's about grandpa Poseidon and grandma Athena."
Luke nodded, getting the hint.
"Yeah. All the stories about the Greek gods are written in it. It's really cool!"
Grandma Sally lifted her eyebrows.
"Oooo, really?"
We nodded.
"About the Greek gods you said?"
We nodded again, releasing a breath. She believed us!
"And you're sure you weren't looking at those old pictures from the blue box that is hidden inside the cabinet behind you?"
"Nooo?!"
I said, more like asked. She gave us a look that said : Are-you-sure? . Luke sighed and gave in.
"Fine, we were looking. But who are that boy and girl in every picture?"
"And why do you keep these pictures of them?"
Grandma Sally laughed, picked the pictures and box up, and sat down on the couch, leaving space on either side of her for us. She patted the two spots next to her.
"Come here. I'll explain it."
I ran towards the couch and jumped in. In the corner of my eyes I saw Luke doing the same. I tucked my feet underneath me and looked closely as Grandma Sally opened the box. She rummaged trough it for a quick second and finally stopped at a certain photo.
"Look"
She said, showing a picture of the two kids, but this time in what seemed to be grandma Sally's apartment.
"Don't you recognise them?"
I looked closer. The girl and boy were much older now, but you could see that it was them. The girl's curly blond hair was up in an elegant bun and she was wearing a beautiful elegant white dress, that looked like the ones grandma Athena wears in the books. The boy was wearing a tux with a blue tie. They looked familiar. Then I saw the girl's eyes. They were grey, just like mine and Silena's.
"Are that Mommy and Daddy?!"
Luke shouted. Grandma Sally smiled and nodded.
"Yeah. That's right before their wedding."
On top in the box, an other picture showed, but this time there was a third person in it.
"And who's that?"
I asked, pointing at the boy.
Grandma Sally looked down and smiled.
"Oo that's Grover, your daddy's best friend. Hasn't he told you about him?"
I was confused. Wasn't uncle Jason Daddy's best friend? And who was that boy? Wait, that's not a boy! He has goat legs! That's a sater!
"Is he the one that protects the trees?"
Luke asked. Grandma nodded.
"I don't get it."
I pouted.
"Who is he? Isn't uncle Jason Daddy's best friend?"
Grandma smiled at me and put me in her lap. She searched inside the box for some pictures and then showed them.
"When you're daddy first arrived at camp, he wasn't alone. It was Grover that brought him there. Without him Daddy wouldn't have met Mommy. They were best friends. Mommy and Grover were good friends too. They went on multiple quests together, hung out at camp, etc"
She showed some pictures of them together, them getting older in every picture.
"But why don't I know him?"
Grandma Sally gave me a sad smile.
"Just after you were born, sweetheart, he was sent on a quest with an other sater and his wife. They had to protect the trees and nature spirits in Canada. At first it went all fine. They IM'ed every month and everything was normal, but after 4 months the IMs became less frequent and by now we don't really now what happened to them."
Tears started to fill my eyes.
"A-are they dead?"
Grandma's eyes widened and she quickly shook her head.
"No! Sweetie, no. They're still alive, we just lost contact with them. You daddy thinks there went something wrong with the communication between the countries, but we're sure they're still alive."
Luke frowned.
"How'd you know that for sure?"
Grandma thought for a moment.
"Your daddy and Grover have a very special bond. When they were teenagers they could feel each other's feelings, if they wanted. They could even communicate through their thoughts, but that link weakened over the years. If something would have happened daddy would have known it immediately."
Luke nodded.
We stayed there on the couch looking at the pictures and listening to Grandma Sally's stories about Mommy and Daddy. After about and hour we were interrupted by someone knocking on the door and entering.
"Mom, we're here!"
"Daddy!"
I shouted and jumped up, running towards the door. When he saw me, he put his bag on the ground and opened his arms. I jumped in his inviting arms and hugged him closely.
"Hey little monkey. How was it with grandma? Did you make cookies?"
I nodded, still clinging onto him. He moved me, so I sat on his hip and bent down to take his bag from the ground.
"Yeah, there's still some left. Luke wanted to eat them all, but grandma told him to safe some for you and mommy."
Daddy chuckled and walked inside the living room, dropping the bag carefully on the table.
In the corner of my eye I saw Luke sitting on mommy's lap on the couch, while grandma Sally sat in the loveseat with the blue box.
Daddy sat down next to mommy and put me in his lap, like mommy did with Luke.
"So what did you all do today?"
Mommy asked, after giving me a kiss on my cheek.
"We made blue chocolate chip cookies!"
Luke said enthusiastically, bouncing up and down in mommy's lap. Mommy smiled and rolled her eyes playfully at him.
"And grandma Sally showed us some old pictures of you."
I answered.
"Really?"
Daddy asked. Luke and I nodded.
Mommy frowned when she spotted the blue box on grandma Sally's lap.
"Isn't that the box we gave you for your 36th birthday?"
Grandma Sally nodded.
"Yeah, when you guys gave me those pictures from you and the seven I got an idea. I had some old picture of you and decided to stock them all in this box. By now I've nearly 3 full boxes."
Mommy's eyes widened, just like daddy's .
"Can we see them?"
Daddy asked.
Grandma nodded and gave them the box. Together we looked at the pictures in the blue box and even at the ones in the other boxes. When we were nearly done with the last box, an Iris Message appeared in front of mommy and daddy.
Chiron, the centaur, appeared.
"Annabeth, Percy."
Mommy and daddy looked up, frowning.
"What's wrong, Chiron?"
Mommy asked, her hand slowly checking if her dagger was still strapped at her hip.
It may look weird to you, but not to us. Mommy only uses it to protect us from the monsters. Daddy has a sword too, only his is a pen. It's weird, right? But daddy says I will get my weapon when I'm 7, which is in 2 years!
"Nothing's wrong, my child, but maybe it's better for you to come to Camp, as fast as possible."
Daddy frowned.
"Why?"
Chiron sort of smiled.
"There's just someone you two might want to see."
Daddy's eyes widened. It didn't last long before mommy caught on too.
"No"
She whispered.
"What's going on?"
Luke asked, pulling at mommy's shirt to get her attention.
A smile grow on mommy and daddy's face.
"An old friend returned back home."
Daddy said. Luke and I frowned.
"Who is he?"
"Remember the friend I told you about only an hour ago?"
Grandma Sally asked.
We nodded.
"Ooowww. The one that protects the trees?"
Luke asked. Mommy nodded and smiled.
"Yeah. You're ready to meet him?"
We nodded.
"Then let's go."
