In the one shot Percy and Annabeth are a prince and a princess and are dating. Rebels have murdered Annabeth's parents and she has to flee with her little sister, so she is safe.

Annabeth's POV
In the distance I heard Percy sobbing and screaming my name, trying to get me back. I turned around and saw Percy being held back by Jason and Frank. It broke my heart.
"I love you, Percy, I love you so so much."
I whispered before I turned back and ran off, tears falling down on my cheeks.
