Time Travel and Troubles

Chapter 14 (Future Confusion)

Me: Yo, sorry its been like a whole month almost. 

Danny: *deadpans* You don't say. Its a few weeks from Halloween.

Me: My favorite holiday.

Danny: That's besides the point.

Me: I know. My teachers decided to kick up the homework load to like a 7 or 8. Its a lot.

Danny: Whatever just start the story so that we can get back to our time as soon as possible.

Me: But what if you-

Danny: No. we're getting back to our time.

Me: Alright. Would you do the disclaimer please?

Danny : Yeah, sure. Waves-Of-Fury doesn't own Danny Phantom or its characters, they belong to Butch Hartman, she does however own Sky.

Me: Thanks. Now, ONTO THE STORY!

Recap

"Last we heard, Dan was still in the Thermos in Clockworks tower, and I'm pretty sure clockwork would have told us if he had gotten loose." Sam said.

Sky looked at their list, "That just leaves one name."

~With Danny and Phantom~

"--we'd need something powerful enough to break this chain." Danny was saying.

"Or, just a thought, we could try and get the key." Phantom suggested.

Just then, the two heard the door open.

They both stood and followed the silhouette until the figure's features were recognizable.

"Ah, Danial, Phantom, you're awake."

Both Danny and Phantom's eyes narrowed,

"Vlad."

ONTO THE STORY!

"Vlad? But if Danny and Phantom were sent back here from the future, then how would the current Vlad know about their future if it hasn't happened yet?" Sky asked.

"That's a good question." Sam said.

"Well there's a possibility that someone form the future could have come back and told him what had happened." Tucker piped up.

"Yeah, but that still doesn't explain why he's so hell bent on having them. Because if that were true, it still doesn't guarantee that he'd have them both here, separate, or that he'd keep them." Sam said.

"Also why would he be so pissed if it hasn't even happened yet?" Sky asked.

"Who knows, but whatever the reason we should start working on a way to free them." Sam said.

"And a way to get them back to their time." Tucker said.

"Wait, if they're here, what happens when we send them back? Shouldn't there be a Danny/Phantom from this time, that's not them?" Sky asked.

Sam and Tucker blinked, "What?" They said in unison both looking at Sky.

"Well, generally in things with time travel there's a rule that you shouldn't go back to a time where you've previously existed, because you'd still be existing and you shouldn't run into yourself, or even be seen by yourself, because it may disrupt the space time continuum or something. So if that's true, then where's the Danny of this time?" Sky explained.

Sam and Tucker stared at her, "If what you're saying is true, then there's another Danny somewhere, who still is half ghost, and just what, not here at the moment?" Sam asked.

"Maybe. It could be a possibility." Sky shrugged.

"It could explain why he disappeared for an entire day before we found him in the park the other day." Tucker said.

"Okay, then if your theory is correct, then where's the Danny of this time? " Sam asked.

~With Danny and Phantom~

"So you were the one who sent us back here." Danny said angrily.

"Ah yes. But I must admit, I had some help." Vlad said gesturing towards where he had entered from, and someone else walked in.

"Wait, two Vlads?" Phantom asked.

"Yes, you see, I knew I wouldn't be able to take you back in our time as it was, so I came back and explained the situation to my past self and after a bit of discussion, we came to an agreement." future Vlad said.

"You know it was quite a bit of work getting you two here. First we had to build everything, then we had to find your past self, and deal with him, then we actually had to get you two here. Really quite a hassle. But if all goes as it should, it will well have been worth it." past Vlad explained.

"What do you mean by 'deal with him' you couldn't have done anything to drastic could you?" Danny asked.

"No no, Daniel. Of course not. He's still alive if that's what you mean. He's here as well, just being kept in a comatose-like state so that he wont interfere with anything." past Vlad explained.

"This is like, pretty twisted. You do realize that right?" Phantom asked.

"Whatever do you mean Phantom? You'll be fed, taken care of, we even let you two stay together. I'd say that's pretty generous." future Vlad said.

"You're both completely nuts." Danny replied.

"Total fruit loops." Phantom added.

"I AM NOT A FRUIT LOOP!" Both Vlads yelled in unison.

Danny and Phantom looked at each other and then back at the two Vlads, "Yeah, right." they deadpanned.

Both Vlads took a breath and then let it out, "One of us will be in here later to give you your food, until then just sit and do whatever. Not like those power blocking cuffs will be coming off any time soon." future Vlad said before turning and leaving, his past self not far behind.

"We need to get out of here soon." Danny said.

"And find past you-us-whatever, and get him out of here as well." Phantom mentioned.

"Yeah, but how?" Danny asked.

"Well they're feeding us at intervals, and I'm pretty sure the keys are on a hook by the door, so maybe find a way to get them, then get back to everyone." Phantom explained.

Danny nodded, "Now for a plan to get those keys."

Me: Boom! Done.

Danny: Ugh, time travel is confusing.

Me: Kinda I guess.

Danny: Whelp, time to figure out how to escape the Vlad house of horror and crazy.

Me: Yep good luck with that.

Danny: Yeah yeah.

Me: I tried to make this chapter a bit longer than the last one, since it took me a while. Sorry again about that. Anyway, that's all for now. What'd you think? Till next time, Bye!
