Heather [4]

I walked down the halls of the school wearing a black dress, leather jacket, and thigh high boots. I matched it with a black choker and a few necklaces. My makeup the same as my hair was in a messy pony. As I was walking I heard Diana and Adam say something about Fin Creak.

"What about Fin Creak?" I ask, officially interested.

"We're trying to find out what happened to Heather Barns. She has a brother there." Diana explains to Adam and I.

"And you think he knows something?" He questions.

"Yeah, it's worth checking out. But I can go by myself, not a big deal." Cassie says.

"I'm in. When are we going?" I ask.

"You don't want to do that." Adam says to us. "Fin Creak is a sketchy area." I scoff while rolling my eyes.

"We'll be fine, Daddy." I smirk and giggle.

"Adam, why don't you take them?" Diana suggests. "I can't reschedule my counseling appointment."

"No! No. It's fine." Cassie argues. "Really, I'll be fine with Aria."

"Seriously guys, I'll take her." I speak.

"Heather was in the fire 16 years ago. Maybe she can tell us what happened to our parents." Diana says.

"Sure. I'll pick you guys up after school?" Adam agrees.

"Okay." The blonde nods.

"Are you okay with that, Diana?" I can't help but smirk.

"It's okay." She laughs. "Really. We're friends. We're in this together." She says before dragging Adam away. Cassie turns to me.

"Any reason you're so interested in going with me?"

"I like sketchy places. Besides we've never really talked before. Why not do some magic together?" I smirk, hinting at the time I walking into her and Adam almost kissing while they made magic. I walk away before she can respond.

I had driven my own Jeep to Fin Creak, not wanting to get in between the Ken and Barbie duo. I was already there when they pulled up. Getting out of my car I walk with them down the pier to this dude's house.

"Well, this is looking more and more like a bad idea." Cassie says.

"We'll be okay." Adam says.

"Of course we will. Ken doll here," I reference Adam, "will keep you safe with his big guns." I joke.

Cassie rolls her eyes. "What is this place?"

"It use to be an old fishing village. Most people moved away. This is what's left." Adam says as we walk up to an old haunted house looking place. "This is it."

We all walk up to the door, Cassie taking a second to look around before following us. Adam knocks on the door. When no one answers, he lifts his hand to knock again, only for the door to open.

"Hi, we're looking for Wade Barns." Adam says to the man that stood before us.

"Actually, we were looking for Heather Barns but we know that Wade lives here." Cassie corrected while I stay silent, watching the scene unfold.

"I'm Wade." The man says. "What do you want with my sister?"

"My mother, Amelia Blake, she was friends with Heather when they were young." He hums but doesn't say anything making us all look at him weird.

"You knew Amelia?" Adam asks.

"I knew her." He nods.

"My mother died a few months ago." Cassie starts. "I was hoping to ask Heather a few questions. Do you know where she is?"
