Cassie had called the whole circle to her house because her grandmother still wasn't back from checking on Faye's grandfather. Personally, I think they are having some much needed adult fun.

When I pull up outside, everyone was already there. I sauntered out of my car and walked into the house, not bothering to knock. I wore a black lace bodysuit with high waisted jeans and black booties. I had my hair slightly curled with natural makeup. To top it all off, I had on a few necklaces including my new crystal one and a black belt.

The cut on my forearm was still untended to. The most I did was rinse the dried up blood from the skin around it.

I entered the kitchen where Cassie, Faye, Adam, Diana, and Jake all stood. Faye had told me this morning that Melissa's mom took her out of town for awhile because she was worried about her after Nick's death. It must be nice, having a parent actually care for you.

"Finally." Faye groaned making me smirk.

"What? You miss me?" I grin at everyone except for Jake. I avoided all eye contact after what happened last night. "So, what did I miss?"

"Diana being paranoid about the witch hunters." The Chamberlain answers.

"Why? It's not like they had your cruid and a match." I say turning to the girl mentioned. "Cassie and I were the closest to dying. Just waiting for Luke to drop our matches."

"Did anybody see what happened to him?" Diana asks.

"I think it had to do with me." Cassie spoke making me nod. She turns to me. "When he was about to kill you, I yelled out and the bottle broke and it just felt like I had done it."

"When you yelled out, I felt a rush of energy. Dark energy. I've felt your power in the past and it was nothing like that. Nothing like anything I've ever felt before." I say making everyone turn to me.

"We were surrounded by iron and sulfur. The circle couldn't do magic. We tried." Adam states.

"They weren't talking about the circle." Faye looks to her. "You did magic by yourself?"

She shrugged with a nod. "It seemed like it."

"Has that happened to anybody else?" Jake speaks, taking a step forward. I sigh and sit down. "Since you bound the circle?"

"I wouldn't be here if I could do magic by myself." Faye says.

"This is amazing." Diana says.

"Jake says that it's possible to learn individual magic." Cassie says.

"Jake says?" I raise my brow before shaking my head. "So what? New girl comes to town, declares she doesn't want to be a witch, then becomes boss to bind the circle and bring Jake in. What is going on? When did you get all the power?" I glare at her and bring my hand up to my crystal, relaxing at the feeling of the energy.

"I've tried to do small spells since, nothing works." The blonde ignores me.

"Like setting more classmates on fire?" The Chamberlain accuses.

"Faye." Diana scolds.

"Doe eyed, orphaned Annie, breezes into town acting like she doesn't know the difference between witchcraft and Santa Clause. And now she's more powerful than any of us." She says making me nod in agreement.

"Hold on, Cassie might have saved our lives last night." Adam says, defending the Barbie.

"Or maybe it's all her fault they're here in the first place." She says. "Psychos. Witch hunters. Demons. They all started coming after us after you came to town."
