I moan at the feeling of strong arms pulling me closer to a bare chest. My eyes flicker open and I look around the room of my deceased best friend. It was weird that Jake was staying in here. In his bed. Ew.

Last night, I gave Jake a ride back to his house and ended up staying the night. It was eventful.

I feel Jake move his lips to my neck, placing open mouthed kisses there. "What are we doing?" I ask while pulling away. Sitting up, I slip my lacy underwear on and grab my bra. While hooking it behind my back I look over my shoulder at him.

"You're the one that came here last night." He shrugs while sitting up.

"I gave you a ride home." I state while standing. I turn fully to look at him, not bothering to grab the rest of my clothes yet.

"You didn't have to come inside." He says. I walk around the bed and straddle his waist as he was still sitting down. His hands come up and grip my thighs.

"I was worried about you." I smirk but frown when I look at his wrists. They were still cut up from the cuffs that the witch hunters had him in. I grab his hand to look at his wrist better. Looking up at his face I see a cheeky grin on his lips. "What?"

He shrugs. "You look good." I furrow my brows in confusion. I probably had sex hair with hickies and bruises littering my body. I place my hands on his neck, gripping it slightly. "I thought last time was a one time thing?"

"Are you complaining?" I tilt my head to the side.

"Not at all." He smirks. He goes to lean in but I pull back.

"What are we doing? We're not together so what are we doing?" I ask while standing from his lap. I grab my jeans from last night and start pulling them on.

"Having fun." He shrugs while standing to his full hight. Getting my jeans all the way up, I grab my shirt from the ground.

"I don't want this to end here, Jake." Pulling the shirt over my head, I watch him as he turns. His back muscles move together as he reaches down for his own clothes.

"What do you expect out of this, Aria? We're not together."

"What do you feel for Cassie?" I couldn't help but ask. I needed to know.

"You should leave." He doesn't look at me. Not once.

"What? Jake-" I start but he cuts me off.

"Leave, Aria!" He yells.

I jump back in fright, not bothering to say anything, I grab my shoes and jacket that had my keys and phone before practically running out of the house. When I get outside, I go straight to my black Jeep.

I pause and look over at Cassie's house. I hated it. I hated the fact that I was jealous. He was mine first.

I went home to change before heading to the Java Brew where the circle wanted to meet up and talk about Blackwell. I now wore a cropped, black, long-sleeve turtle neck and high waisted skinny jeans with black booties. I had my hair in its natural curls with light makeup.

By the time I got to the Java Brew, the whole circle was already there and were talking. I had spent extra time getting ready this morning to try and cover Jake's 'art work' all over my neck. When that didn't work, I opted for a turtle neck instead.

"Sorry I'm late." I state as I walk towards the group with a to-go-cup of coffee in hand. I sat beside Melissa on the couch. "What'd I miss?"

"My dad said it was safer for me and my mom if people thought he was dead." Cassie explains. I try to ignore Jake's stare as I feel him watching me.
