Heartbreak Lullaby

Jungkook shoved his cold palms inside the pockets of his warm coat while walking to the coffee shop near his school. Somebody was waiting him there. The moment he entered the cozy warm room and saw the person sat in the corner, Jungkook greeted him, with a genuine smile he has. "Namjoon hyung..."

"Sorry for taking your time."

"No prob." The younger answered. "But, anything is okay, right?"

Namjoon gave him a smile as an answer. Even though it didn't reach his eyes. "If it's about you, yes. If it's about your brother, no."

Jungkook scrunched his brows. "What happened? Seokjin hyung, is he sick?"

"Well... Let's order something first." Namjoon called the waitress to gave them menu. He ordered americano as always and Jungkook prefered hot peppermint tea. Both asked tiramisu cakes as snack.

"So?" Jungkook repeated his question. Gently squeezed the ceramic tea mug to get some heat from it. "What is happening, hyung?"

"Seokjin really didn't tell you yet?"

The younger shook his head, somehow confused. "Umm... He called me three days ago to make sure that I study well, eat well, and sleep well. He usually call me almost everyday though." He sipped the tea that already warm enough to enjoy. "Is there something important that he actually needs to tell me? Not a bad thing, right?"

Namjoon cleared his throat. "Well... It's actually a good news. But..."

"Yes?"

"What do you think about you having a nephew, or niece? Like... Soon. Very soon..."

Jungkook was munching the tiramisu when he tried to understand what Namjoon had said earlier. Nephew? Niece? Him? So that means he is the uncle? Uncle? Who? Him? Uncle? But wait, they were talking about his brother, right? Kim Seokjin. His beloved hyung. Wait. Nephew or niece. Him. Kim Seokjin. Wait, the agreement. That also means Kim Namjoon. No? Hell!! The message hit his brain kinda slow. Bloody slow. He choked by the tiramisu and waved to the waitress to get some water.

"My hyung is having a baby?!" He finally managed to speak after gulping the whole water from the large glass. "With you, hyung? How come?!" Jungkook mentally slapped his face over the stupid question.

Yeah, how come Namjoon. Explain it to this poor kid.

Namjoon ran a hand through his hair and shut his eyes closed. How should he explain it to the kid in front of him without leaving another doomed misunderstanding. He needs to get Jungkook as his alliance so the younger could help him. It's a good thing that Seokjin haven't tell his brother yet. It's his chance to gather everyone on his side. He felt so selfish but he won't think about it. He needs to win the mess he don't give a damn about how dirty his method. "Accident happened."

"Huh?"

"You know Hyosang, right? Your brother's boyfriend. I mean ex boyfriend."

"Ex?" Jungkook gaped his mouth wide open. "Seokjin hyung didn't tell me. Beside, I don't really know about Hyosang. I barely know him. To be honest, I know you better than him, hyung..."

So Namjoon told him. About he paid someone to investigate that guy's flaws. About the plan to expose that guy's flaws in front of Seokjin's eyes. About the forest cabin.
