Peter, Ned, MJ and Flash were studying in the school library together for finals. They only had a month left of school and then they graduate and all separate into different universities. They were enjoying what time they had left together, even if it meant studying together. Today, however, MJ was upset and scared and no one knew why.
"Hey, MJ," Peter spoke softly. "What's wrong? Is everything okay?" He reached to hold her hand underneath the table.
She forced a smile. "Yeah, uh, I need to talk to you later," She said quiet enough so that Ned and Flash couldn't hear. They didn't know that they were dating; no one did. "It's important."
Peter nodded at her and they went back to doing their work.
Later on, that evening, when everyone called it quits, MJ pulled Peter to the park and they sat on a bench hidden away from the view of others. Peter reached over and brushed a loose strand of MJ hair behind her ear.
"What's up?" He asked for the second time that evening. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself but tears still slipped out her eyes and down her face. Peter quickly pulled her into his chest, hugging her tightly.
"Pete, we screwed up big time," She sobbed. "Pete, I'm-" Another sob came from her throat. She couldn't say it, she just couldn't. She didn't want to screw up Peter's life. He had so much in his future with being Spider-Man and being accepted into MIT and not forgetting the Stark internship he had. She was pulled from her thoughts when Peter started running his fingers through her hair. He was too kind and just had so much to live for.
"Hey, it's ok. Just take your time. Just remember that you come first out of everything so if anything happened, you need to tell me so I can help you," He kissed the top of her head.
It was a few moments before MJ said anything. She was focused on calming down enough to speak.
"Just promise me that you won't leave or hate me," He nodded his head and responded with an 'Of course'. "Peter, I'm pregnant."
I wrote this short bit of text to see what you guys think. I would love to flesh this out into an actual book and I have a lot of ideas for it but I just wanted to see what you guys thought of it. So, what do you think? Should I make this into a whole book? -J
