Prompt 2: Pet Names
Sidenote: These are probably only going to be short chapters: 200-300 words give or take.
"Hey, dad!"Peter yelled as he walked out of the penthouse elevator and into the common room. Tony was relaxing on the couch watching TV.
"Hey, Bambi," Tony greeted. "How was school?"
Peter smiled and fell into his father's arms with a huff; Tony ruffled Peter's brunette curls and pulled him onto his lap. He smiled down at his son before Peter began his recollection of his day.
"It was great! I aced my science test," Tony added in a mumbled 'I knew you would'. "Ned recently got the new Star Wars Lego set and Flash was absent from school today."
Peter looked up at his dad: his smile hadn't left his face since he arrived home.
"How was your day, pops?" Peter asked.
"Well, I'm glad you asked, Underoos. Bruce is back from his business trip so we worked in the lab together before Pep arrived home." Tony answered. "Then Pepper and I worked on wedding plans."
Peter sighed contently before snuggling into Tony and he complied by wrapping his arms around his son and hugged him tighter.
And that's how Pepper found her soon to be husband and son - in the living room, asleep and latching onto one another with Star Trek playing in the background.
