In Which Tony Stark Runs Into Peter 4+1

The four times Tony runs into Peter without knowing him and the one time Peter reminds Tony of all the times.

One-

The first time Tony Stark had run into Peter, he was out jogging with Pepper. They were nearing the end of their run when a toddler, no older than three, had run up and into Tony's leg. The young boy was clutching his leg crying.

"Iron Man, help me, please," The boy cried. 

Tony looked over to Pepper and she nodded at him so he kneeled down to the boy's level. Pepper also kneeled down and ran her fingers through the boy's soft brunette locks. Brown doe eyes looked up at them.

"What's wrong kid? Where are your parents?" Tony questioned.

"I'm lost," He cried. "I wanted to play at the park and I ran off too far."

"That's okay, honey. We'll help you find your parents," Pepper said and picked the boy up. "Now, what's your name?"

"Peter," Peter answered. He had finally calmed down.

"Okay, Pete. Which way did you come from?" Tony asked. He took Peter off Pepper and sat the boy on his shoulders; hopefully, that'll help him spot his parents. Tony looked up at Peter and the boy pointed at where he came from.

Pepper, Tony and Peter walked that way for a while when Peter got excited and kicked his legs up and down.

"There, there!" Peter exclaimed. They looked over to see a couple walking towards the trio. Tony took Peter off his shoulders and the boy raced over to his parents.

"Thank you so much. We couldn't find Peter after he ran off," Peter's mother said to Tony and Pepper.

Two-

The second time Tony ran into Peter was when Stark Expo went to shambles by being attacked by Justin Hammer. 

Tony was in his Iron Man suit battling robots and trying to get all the civilians out safely when he spotted a young boy with an Iron Man mask and gauntlet hold his hand up towards one of the robots. The robot was about to shoot the boy when Tony swopped in and shot the droid first. The machine went hurtling backwards and Tony turned to see if the kid was alright.

"Nice work, kid," He spoke before flying off.

The boy just looked up at Iron Man, stunned, as he flew off. Peter decided that that was awesome.

Three-

The third time Tony ran into Peter, Tony was heading towards Midtown High School to do a presentation.

Tony was humming in the backseat of his sleek, black car, scrolling through all the emails on his phone when, his bodyguard, Happy, rolled down the separator window.

"We're here, Tony," Happy grunted.

Tony hopped out of the car and started walking towards the school's office when a boy ran straight into him, dropping all of the kid's papers everywhere.

"Oh my god. Mr Stark, I am so sorry!" The kid was very apologetic. "I didn't mean to run into you. I'm just running late and I wasn't watching where I was going."

"Don't sweat it, kid," Tony smiled at the boy and that seemed to calm him a bit.

He bent down and helped the boy, whose name he learned was Peter from the sheets of paper, pick up all the work up off the ground.

"Here," He said and passed the work to Peter. "Nice work," He smiled and Peter blushed when he looked down at the essay on top.

Four-

The fourth time Tony ran into Peter was a few months after the third incident.

Peter had snuck off at a field trip at Oscorp and discovered a room filled with genetically engineered spiders that his father had worked on before he and his mother passed. One of the spiders had bitten him and Peter just wanted to get out of there and go home.

Tony, on the other hand, was at Oscorp for a meeting. He was running late since he was just going to skip it but Pepper had forced him to go. Better late than never, right?

Tony was just heading through the glass doors of the building when a teenager ran into him. The boy was clutching the back of his neck and was stumbling around.

"Mr Stark, I am so sorry," The boy exclaimed but Tony could tell that he was in pain.

The teen then continued out the entrance doors and round the corner before Tony could even respond or help the kid.

Peter and Tony were idly chatting in Tony's lab. Tony was working on another Iron Man suit while Peter was looking for a particular part for his invention. Peter was going through some draws when he opened on filled with drawings and an essay. He let out a loud gasp and Tony ran over to him, thinking that he had hurt himself.

"What happened, kid? Are you okay?" Tony questioned but Peter burst out laughing.

Tony looked down to see what Peter was laughing at and he saw the drawings and works and he frowned at Peter.

"Hey, don't laugh. Some kid worked hard on these and sent them to me," Tony scolded.

"Oh my god, Mr Stark," Peter wheezed. "I sent them to you."

"Wait, what?" Tony asked. 

"Yeah, I started making them for you after you helped me find my parents when I was three," Peter answered. 

"Really? That was you?" Tony was shocked. "How did I not realise?"

"That's not it though, Mr Stark," This got Tony's full attention. "At the Stark Expo, you shot down a robot that was about to kill me and then you told me that I did a nice job."

Tony sat down at the desk with Peter and motioned for him to continue.

"Remember when you had to do a presentation at Midtown?" Tony nodded his head. "Well I was the kid that ran into you and dropped all his work on the ground, including this," Peter held up the essay he found. It was then that Tony noticed the 'Peter Parker' written in all the corners of the works. 

"Wow, kid, I still can't believe that I didn't realise that it was you I ran into when I met you to talk about Spider-Man," Tony was speechless.

"That's not all. You were there the day I became Spider-Man," This shocked Tony even more. "After I had just got bitten, my only thought was to get out of there. As I was heading towards the entrance, I ran into you and quickly apologised and left."

Tony's mouth was hanging open and he couldn't fathom what Peter had just said.

"Don't catch flies there, Mr Stark," Peter laughed and went back to work.

"Wait, Kid-"
