did you know
that i loved you
more than i loved myself?
i showed more attention to you
rather than giving my all towards my needs.
i ignored my necessities for a want.
i believe in karma,
and know it always finds its way back.
but i'm confused as to how to look at our situation.
was it karma backbiting me?
or is karma coming to you?
no one in this life ever deserves
to feel
to see
to hear
to experience
the pain that i went through.
it's sad to know
that even though you're gone
that even though i've left you with no contact
and even though i claim i don't like you anymore
you're still the one who holds my heart.
