selfish.

i was nothing but giving.
i was a selfless soul who wanted
nothing but the best for the people that
partook in my everyday life.
but for all the years i put up with that,
i was used for granted.

becoming friends with you
was where my happiness ended.
now that i've left from your side,
my happiness has finally begun again.

i can't wait to explore all the unknown places
by myself,
whenever i please to leave.

this world has much more to offer
than the city i know the whole map to,
i'm going to get away from here,
that's a promise.
i've already started with the first step
of my journey.

maybe now i'll finally realize my self worth.
and be able to figure out what my interests are
or saying whatever i want to say
because i don't have someone holding me back
any longer.
