cleanse yourself
for eternal happiness,
cut off all the negativity,
for you to be able to glow.

i'm better off now
sure i'll be alone,
but i have the time to finally
pull myself back down to earth.
learn what i'm here to do
fix everything i stand for.

i promise that now that
i have cut off all my reasoning for my anger
i'll never allow myself to return to that state
ever again.

cutting ties
to a better life
is the only answer i have left in the books
for me to do.
for me to get away from the toxicity,
i need to leave everything i know behind.

here's to better days,
without crying myself to sleep
or panicking before leaving the house.
here's to happy hours,
where i can spend time to myself,
and tend to all of my own needs.
