Chapter Forty One: The Truth

The next morning I woke up to banging coming from downstairs.

I jumped out of the bed and ran downstairs, I threw my front door open ready to attack whoever the hell was pounding but when I saw it was my cousin I relaxed some.

"What the fuck?" I sounded angrily.

But her own anger was radiating off of her and I knew she was pissed about Daisy leaving.

Before she could even say anything I let her in and spoke up. "I'm sorry I asked you to do that for me Blithe...You were the only person I could trust to do that...and please don't ask what happened because I won't say anything until Ieston gets here."

She walked in and I closed the door behind her.

"She say anything?" I asked a little unsure. As upset as I was with the whole situation I still cared about her.

She shook her head, "Cried mostly."

My wolf whined.

"Ieston better not try and avoid me!" I growled.

"He's on his way...he just called me." She said through her teeth as she shook her head at me, obviously pissed that I sent Daisy away and being left out of what was going on.

"Direct your anger at your husband not me." I sighed before I went to the kitchen to make myself some coffee. "All of this is his fault...for once I didn't do anything."

She just stood there with her arms crossed, I avoided looking at the sink and seeing the dishes.

While the coffee was still brewing there was a small knock on the door.

Blithe and I looked at each other before she moved to open the door.

Ieston walked in and she closed the door behind him. He looked at me and I waited for him to say anything before I go off on him.

I was shaking just looking at him. My wolf was ready to come out.

"Will sombody tell me what the hell is going on?" Blithe growled.

"Does she really need to be here for this?" Ieston asked unable to look at me directly.

"She has to find out sometime...plus this is your fuck up."

He shook his head, "Don't put all this shit on me..."

I growled and charged at him knocking him to the ground.

"This is your shit...everything was fucking fine before you went and fucked it all up!" I growled.

I was pissed, and if it weren't for the simple fact that he's my cousin's husband I would have killed him right then and there.

"As the Alpha of the Ironsmith pack I order you Ieston Wells to tell me the entire truth." I growled.

He got up and looked at Blithe "I'm so sorry BB."

She shook her head, but lifted his hands in hers "Ieston what's going on?" My cousin asked, her tears threatening to come forward and it pissed me off even more.

He had hurt Daisy and now he was going to hurt Blithe too...I should kill him.

He was on the verge of tears now. "I...Daisy, she was my mate."

Blithe gasped and let go of his hands, "Daisy is your mate?"

He shook his head, "No she WAS my mate, I rejected her when I first met her."
