Chapter Sixty Two: New Roles

"Alpha Cade, if I could have a word please." Ieston asked after we'd discussed the Beta roles.

I nodded and we watched as Daisy and Blithe exited the office...I had no doubt that Daisy would go and show Blithe her new office, which she cutely referred to as Luna Headquarters.

"What's up?" I asked as I moved to take my seat behind the desk.

"First I just wanted to say thank you, I know this couldn't have been easy...-"

I held my hand up, "Don't thank me, Daisy brought to my attention the action that should have never taken place."

"I should have told you man, I know that...I should have told you about Benny and Daisy."

I shook my head, "Benny was your family so that was your business...as for Daisy, I'm glad you didn't."

His eyebrows pulled together as he was trying to understand what I meant.

"If I'd have known the truth about her being your mate I would have never gone to Sunderland, I would have never met her, and I would have been the same sad empty man that I was before."

He nodded, "I swear I'm not trying to stir shit up but did Daisy talk to you about me?"

I nodded, "She did in fact tell me you sought her out for help...and while I'm not exactly thrilled with all the secrecy, I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to go to her as it resulted in her being able to talk to me openly."

He nodded, "I knew You and Blithe would more than likely still be upset with me, and I couldn't lose her, Blithe means the world to me...you know that."

"I do know that Ieston, that's why I was so upset, I couldn't understand how you could purposely keep the truth from B for all these years...but that's neither here nor there and like you said I don't want stir this shit up anymore...I'm glad you two are good, and i'm just looking forward to having my pack whole and one unit for the first time ever."

"Speaking of One Unit..." He added, "Blithe and I are going to be doing the Blood Bonding."

I wasn't surprised to hear it.

"Wow, you two sure about this?"

He nodded, "We know what it all entails and honestly it just seems like the obvious thing for us, I can't live without her, I was miserable for those few days I was gone, my wolf was depressed and I don't want to ever feel like i've lost her again...and she's the one who suggested it so she's all in for sure."

"Well I'm happy for you both Man...trust me, it's unconvintional but well worth it...I honestly can't talk highly enough about bonding yourself to the woman you love wholeheartedly."

Daisy

A few weeks had passed by and a lot had happened, Not only was I presented to the pack alongside Theo as my Luna's Guard, but Blithe and Ieston were presented and fully took on the roles of Betas.

Cade was busy with work as his first overseas shipment with my fathers cargo ships were finally ready to go.

As for me I did exactly as I told many I would do, I took on a staffing position at the orphange in town instead of just volunteering...I also started planning mine and Cade's wedding.

Despite placing a year marker on our wedding, maybe it was the blood bonding, maybe it's was just my love for him...whatever the reason I knew I couldn't wait a whole year to be his wife officially. More so, most of the pack already sees me as the Luna, despite me not officially being married to the Alpha...So why not make it official?
