Chapter Sixteen: Carefree

"Cade." Blithe sounded immediately upon my entering the pack house.

"Im not here." I said in refrence to my wanting to get in and out quickly. "So just ignore me."

I made my way to the office and grabbed my house keys.

"Going home?" Blithe asked.

"Gotta grab something then I'm heading back."

"Cade." She sounded, causing me to take a moment and look at her. "Is everything okay?"

I nodded, "Blithe, I'm fine...I've only been there a day, I promised I'd stay at least a week."

"I know, I just wanted to make sure you aren't second guessing it."

I shook my head, "I met her, Daisy...She's nice, but I'm not gonna lie, after today I am feeling a little shitty about being there and essentially bringing her back as my Luna."

"And yet you are going back." Blithe put in, "If you felt too concerned you wouldn't be returning...there's something else though... " she said as she looked at me as if trying to get a read on me. "...could you possible like her Cade?"

I sighed, "Need I remind you that I've spend one day with her...hard to grow feelings for someone in just a day...but even only having spent the day with her...I can see that something's going on with her and her family, don't know what it is though."

"Always the hero."

I rolled my eyes and went on my way without another word.

When I reached my house in Southtown I collected all my mail and didn't even bother looking through it as I placed it in a little basket on the side table near the front door.

I went over to my bedroom and entered my closet.

I grabbed a duffle bag and got some more jeans, tops, and underclothes before I zipped that up and moved to the otherside of my closet. I made a face of unease as I looked at the suites but grabbed one of the Tuxedos from the back, thankfully it was in a garment bag so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting dirty during the transfers.

Last I got some dress socks, cuff links, and a pair of dress shoes.

Afterward I looked around the house just to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything before I took off back to Sunderland.

I let myself sleep in and woke up to the sound of a text message.

[???: Good Morning.]

I looked at the phone for a moment before another text came in.

[???: This is Daisy by the way...Hope I didn't wake you.]

I smirked, and saved her number into the phone before texting her back.

[Cade: I'm up, and Good morning as well.]

[Daisy: Oh Good, I'm glad you're up.]

[Daisy: Here's the address for the place, no need to rush...fixing to head out for brunch or something so just meet me there around noon and remember to dress down.]

Once again I smirked, I could tell she wasn't use to texting someone this early, much less a guy.

I recieved the address as well as a few directions.
