Seoyul felt it. She could tell; the winds had changed, the temperature had increased extremely slightly.

She was here.

A few minutes later, the figure of a girl similar to Seoyul's took form in her room.

"Is he here?" The girl asked her.

Seoyul nodded. "Next door."

The figure advanced towards the door, only to realise Seoyul wasn't following.

"You don't want to come?" She asked quietly.

Seoyul bit her lip.

She didn't want to see Jun when it happened.

"No," she replied, picking up a magzine on the table and browsed through it.

The girl made a face at the sight of it.

"You read that kind of stuff now?"

Seoyul glared at her. "Humans do. If I don't, then wouldn't Jun already know by now?"

"Jun?" The girl laughed. "That's what you call him now?"

"Just go and do what you came here to do, Seori!"

Seori smiled. "Okay."

Seoyul waited, flipping randomly through the magazine.

Ten minutes.

Then fifteen.

Then twenty.

Finally Seori reappeared, looking worn out.

"Did you get it?" Seoyul asked, without looking up.

"I almost did." Seori groaned. "I would have thought, after one year, it'd be so much easier."

"One year?" Seoyul enquired, eyes widening. "You tried a year ago?"

"Yeah. Why?" Seori leaned against the wall.

"Is that why you sent me here one year ago? To have someone watch over Jun when you couldn't?" Seoyul's voice rose, anger imminent.

"Seoyul, you won't understand."

"What will I not understand?" Seoyul threw the magazine on the bed, stood up and faced Seori. "Excuse me, but I am only 4 minutes younger than you are."

Seori looked at her, hurt evident in her eyes. "Seoyul, please understand. You won't be able to understand why I did this."

"So...can we go home now?" Seoyul bit her lip, again. A habit she couldn't really get rid of.

"Sorry...I need you to stay here for a while more."

"Kim Seori! You promised!"

Seori looked into Seoyul's angry, hurt eyes. "I need you here longer, Seoyul. Please."

Part of her wanted to fight the girl who was just mere minutes older than she was. The other wanted to stay here; stay away from Seori.

"Go."

"What?!" Seori was shocked.

"You want me here right? Then go!" Seoyul half-shouted.

"Seoyul..." Seori whispered.

"You are my sister, Seori. And you, of all people, are going to do this to me."

"I'm sorry..."

"Get out!" Seoyul said forcefully, this time shouting.

Seori obeyed.

The girl watched her sister, her twin sister slowly disappear.

5 seconds later, however, Seoyul had buried her head in her pillow and broke down.
•••
11 months since Seori had appeared.

Seoyul reread the letter that her sister had sent her secretly without Jun noticing.

I need you back here, by the end of next month.
You've always wanted to go home, right?

Seoyul read that paragraph several times over, laughing humorlessly.

"What if...what if I don't wanna go back now?"

"Seoyul?"

The girl jumped, but sighed when she realised it was Jun behind her.

"What were you reading?"

"N...Nothing. Just a letter from my family." Seoyul stuttered slightly. She turned the paper over, hiding its contents.

"Why do you need to hide it?" Jun asked her gently, placing his hand on her shoulder.

Seoyul felt her heart jerk.

"It's private." She said, not looking at him, playing with her fingers.

"Oh."

That tiny word held so much.

I'm sorry, Jun.

If only you knew I wasn't an angel but someone who could kill you if I wanted to.

If only you knew that my sister was the one who got me in this mess in the first place.

Oh, Junhui, if only you knew how many battles my heart has went through ever since I met you.

Seoyul folded up the letter, careful to avoid revealing any content of it.

Jun noticed her glum expression.

"Are you okay?" He asked, concerned.

Seoyul gave a small smile. "I'm fine."

No, I'm not.

Jun studied the girl as she looked out of the window. She didn't seem fine, instead she looked miserable.

He wanted to hug her and comfort her, but he didn't dare to.

Meanwhile, Seoyul was in her own world.

Kim Seori, you caused me all this pain and trouble no one else could give me.

I've done what you asked. Yet you're asking me for more.

Fine, I'll do it. But you'd better remember that you're forever in my debt.
