Seoyul made her way silently, stealthily towards the alley a few blocks away from Jun's apartment block.

Seori needed her to help with one more task before she was due to return home.

Seoyul didn't like the feeling of being used. Yet, she hadn't done this in a while.

Not that she liked doing this.

She reached the back of the alley, and spied a man tied in ropes at the back.

Seori's doing.

"You!" The man spat as she neared him.

Seoyul laughed. "Choi Seungcheol, do you mean my sister?"

"You tied me up here." Even in the dark, Seoyul could tell that Seungcheol was glaring at her.

"Oh, no. I could never do that. My twin sister who you saw earlier did this to you. Not me. And why would I hurt my friend, even though we haven't seen each other for about two years now?"

Seungcheol studied her with the minimal light he had in the night. "Come to think of it, you have longer hair than she does."

He suddenly thought of something. "Do I actually really know you?"

"Really, Cheol? You don't remember me?"

Seungcheol squinted, then his eyes widened. "Seoyul?"

"I'm sorry my sister did this. I would have told her not to."

"Seori, huh?" His voice possessed a completely different tone. "That woman still hates me."

"I'll let you free, okay? Just if you...let me take something from you."

"What do you want?" Seungcheol was scared now.

Seoyul sighed. "I think you know. What else could I take? Of all the things in the world, what am I so good at taking?"

"Why? Why do you need mine?" Seungcheol looked really fearful, his eyes widening, back straight against the wall.

Seoyul debated telling him about Seori's mission for her. But since he and Seori were probably sworn enemies by then, she decided against it.

"I have my reasons. But I can promise you! I promise I will return it!"

"Tell me why." Seungcheol challenged.

Seoyul bit her lip. "Fine. So someone decided it was really funny to force me to help them accomplish their tasks, and one of it involves you, for no particular reason, so that's...pretty much how it happened."

Seungcheol tilted his head to one side. "Do friends take each other's souls?"

Seoyul's stomach twisted.

Seungcheol had a point.

But she needed to do this.

"Please, Seungcheol! I'm begging you! I promise, this will be the first and the last time!"

"Are you sure?" He shot at her, as if willing her to change her mind.

The girl gritted her teeth.

"Yes."
