Seoyul brought Jun back to her house, where she called Minghao and his private research team over to analyse Jun's extremely unpredictable powers. Jun had sometimes been unable to control them, causing them to wake up in cages of vines almost every morning.
Seoyul also contacted a private doctor for Jun's wings. Jun needed to find a way to make sure they weren't seen, so he could carry on with his job as a model.
Minghao and his fellow researchers had carried out several experiments on Jun, eventually discovering that Jun had even more crazy powers that he had yet to activate. They decided to monitor him for a while more, just to ensure he wasn't going on rampages and destroying cities.
The doctor managed to find a solution for Jun's wings. He gave him a potion that would make his wings magically vanish for 24 hours, enough time for him to stay looking like a regular human being outside.
With all that settled, Jun began thinking less and less of his weird predicaments and more and more of the future and forever he had promised Seoyul.

Jun stayed at Seoyul's house most of the time, unless he had a busy modelling schedule. Which made planning surprises even more hard, because he had wanted to make everything a secret until the day itself.
Finally, when Seoyul starting going back to work again, Jun managed to put his plans into action.
He hoped it would work. And he dearly hoped that Seoyul would like it.

Seoyul came into the house one day to see rose petals adorning the sides of the marble staircase. Scented candles had been lit along the sides as well.
"Jun?" She called, but there was no answer.
Her heartbeat sped. Was this another one of Jun's pranks, or was he going to do what she thought he would do?
Slowly, she climbed up the staircase and knocked on the door of her room. Or rather, their room, now that Jun had moved in with her.
No answer. Gingerly, she turned the doorknob and pushed the door open.
The room was decorated with red chilli lights and more scented candles. Rose petals were all over the floor, with only one path cleared out. Her heart caught in her throat when she realised where the path lead to.
Jun sat in a chair at the end of the path, his beautiful black wings spread out full in their glory. He was wearing a suit, she realised, the one he had tailor-made to fit his wings through. His lips curved into a smile when he saw her. He lifted himself off the chair.
Jun took her hand in his and kissed it lightly. "Remember all the times we were apart?"
Seoyul laughed. "It was torture for me."
"As it was for me. I didn't have a single idea when or where I would see you again." He held her hand in a gentle grip. "And I hope to never go through that again."
She smiled. "You won't have to. We're together, right?"
"We are. But that is only something we know...and I think it is time for us to let everybody know. If you are willing." Jun released her hand and slowly knelt to the floor.
Seoyul remained, stunned, as Jun pulled out a small box and opened it. A ring was nestled inside a velvet cushion, and her heart stopped when she saw it.
The ring was beautiful. It was made of thin, threadlike silver that tangled together to form a pedestal for a small diamond. Her lips fell open as she looked at it. Jun smiled at her reaction.
"I love you, Seoyul. I know we are soulmates, but even if we weren't, I might still love you this deeply. I want to be with you until my very last breath, and I don't want to ever be parted from you. So..." Jun gingerly removed the ring from the box.
"Will you marry me, Kim Seoyul?"
She didn't hesitate. "Yes. Yes. A thousand times, yes." She knelt to the floor next to him and grasped his hands.
Jun's smile grew wider, and he slowly slipped the ring onto her ring finger on her left hand. He held her hand up to examine it.
"It looks good on you."
Seoyul threw herself into his arms. "Now we'll never need to be apart."
"Yes," Jun nodded, holding her tightly to his chest. "Yes."
"我爱你。" (I love you.)
