The two of them just sat there eating, silence filling the half-lit room.

Seoyul had her plan laid out. First she would wait until midnight, before she checked on Jun. Then...

It was over.

Goodbye, without leaving a single trace of herself.

It was cruel, to do this to Junhui, after he had actually been really very kind. He'd looked after her, even bothering to call and check on her when she was alone in his apartment.

She'd just leave a note for him, with her thanks and her farewell.

There was nothing else she could do.

Nothing.

Seoyul finished before Jun did and moved toward the sink, depositing her plate inside for Jun to wash. It was a deal they made between them; whoever was the last to finish would wash both the dishes.

Yet, Seoyul felt bad for letting him wash her plate when she would be leaving that night.

Jun came over. "I'll wash that."

"I'll do it."

His eyes widened, for Seoyul would avoid washing the plates as much as she possibly could.

"The deal..."

"Scrape it." Seoyul deadpanned, snatching the plate out of his hands, grabbed a sponge and half-grudgingly scrubbed it.

Jun just stared. "Well...erm...thanks."

He knew Seoyul was acting strange. She'd shut herself up in her room and had hardly come out at all that day.

He passed her room to go to his, and stole a glance inside the open room.

He blinked for a few moments, before scanning her room properly this time.

It was almost empty, except for the bed in the corner and a small bag. All of her novels and magazines were gone. When he stepped inside to have a look at her wardrobe, it contained nothing but a few pieces of clothing strewn haphazardly at the bottom of the cabinet.

Multiple thoughts flashed through Jun's mind, one clearly standing out among the rest.

She's leaving.

No. It can't be.

But...is there even another explanation?

If not, why would she want to forget the deal we had two years ago?

He bolted for the kitchen, where Seoyul was placing the last plate on the shelf.

"Seoyul. Can you answer me something? Honestly?"

"Anything."

Jun steadied himself before speaking. "Are you leaving?"

Horror and rage flashed across her face as Seoyul stared straight into his eyes. She clenched her fist as her hand shook.

"Have you been going through my room?" Her voice was low, anger eminent.

"I was just passing by," Jun said defensively.

Seoyul strode past him. "I guess since it's out of the bag now, I'm leaving."

"Why?" Jun couldn't help but ask.

"I have my reasons."

She really didn't wish to elaborate too much.

Jun followed her to her room, where she grabbed the duffel bag on the table and slung it over her shoulder, stuffing the remainder of her clothes inside it. She noticed him watching.

"What?" Seoyul asked, annoyed.

"Stay."

"What?" The same word, but in a completely different tone.

Jun sighed. "Do you really want me to tell you why?"

Seoyul was curious, but she didn't have any time to spare.

"No."

She brushed past him again. "I'm sorry, but I'll need to use your window. Mine's too small."

"You really don't want to know?"

Seoyul groaned. She entered his room, threw her bag on the floor and turned. "So?"

"I...I think..."

"Yes?" Her eyes narrowed.

Jun looked away for a moment, glad that the light of his room wasn't turned on, or Seoyul would have seen the blush climbing up his cheeks.

"Were you...were you not aware?"

"Aware of what?"

Seoyul couldn't deny it; he had her attention now.

What could she have not been aware of from the start?
