Dear Ava
     Yeah Ava your a great friend. I couldn't be happier to have a friend like you.

Once this war is over I'll make sure to come and visit you one day.

Oh yeah did you find my picture yet? I haven't heard you talk about it ever since.

Today's fun fact about me.
I like a girl.

"YOU DID WHAT?" Grinny and Johnny shouted at the same time.

"I think I friend zoned her by accident in the last letter..." I trailed off.

Grinny slapped his head and sadly walked away shaking his head.

"You blew it! Whatever chance of you having a chance with her and her having the same feelings is now gone! Poof!" Grinny stomped around my bed throwing his hands up in the air angrily.

"Well maybe it's a good thing. She could be lying to me and maybe be a total bully." The words came out as fast as I had regretted saying them.

"You don't believe that." Johnny said a matter of factory without the slightest of doubt.

"Yeah okay I don't believe that." I muttered.

"Well since you figured that out did you try to fix it at least in your letter?" Brainy asked.

My face lit up and I told them what I wrote.

Grinny stared at me with a look that said "are you crazy?"

Johnny slapped his head.

Brainy he... just stared at me which was quite unnerving.

"You did what?" Grinny said slowly felt high I knew he was starting to get angry.

"You heard me."

"OH MY MOTHER OF ******" and he kept on swearing and swearing until his anger had started to fade away.

"Johnny you tell this kids what he did wrong. I can't look at him today." Grinny fanned himself to cool himself down.

"What did he do wrong actually? I just followed everyone else's lead." Johnny confesses.

Grinny fell down to his knees and buried his head on my bedsheets.

"Brainy." His voice was muffled but still clear.

"No comment." He says before focusing back onto his letter.

"Oh my god why am I stuck with a bunch of idiots?" Grinny whined.

"Maybe cause your one too?" Johnny says.

Grinny gets up which causes Johnny to run to the other side of the room.

"Ok dice everyone chickened out I'll be the one to tell you. Kid! If the girl has feelings for you and you wrote you like someone without telling her who how do you think she would feel?"

Oh shit.

"I've already sent it out though." I said.

Grinny only sighs at me before patting me on the back.

"Next time you write a letter to her give it to me so I can take a look for you." He sighs again before walking away to find Johnny.

"JOHNNY! IF YOU DONT COME OUT THIS INSTANT THE CONSEQUENCES WILL BE MORE SEVERE THAN I HAD ORINGINALLY PLANNED IT."

I leaned into my chair and smacked myself in the head. I'm usually a very quick witted kid but, ever since Ava wrote back my IQ dropped every time she wrote back to me.

I need to fix that.
