CHAPTER 11

Janel's POV 

"Hey sweetie, Wake uuuuuuuup!" mom shouted like and alarm clock just to wake me up.

I forgot to set my alarm clock on my phone and now I woke up a bit late in the morning. Today is the day kung saan sasama ako kay Tita Savannah. Pupunta kami sa school, my future school, na papasukan ko for my last year sa college. 

"I'm awake, Mom!" tumayo na ako at kaagad dumeretso sa CR para mag toothbrush at also to get ready. 

It's hard to adjust lalo na iba ang nakagisnan ko sa Pilipinas. Especially the weather! It's really cold here in the Canada. Parang naka-aircon kahit saan ka magpunta. Magbe-ber months na kasi dito and the start of the school year is on this coming September. Kaya mas maiging makapaghanda na ako kaagad para agad din kaming matapos sa pag-enrol ko sa new school. 

(At the kitchen) 

I heard my mom talking with tita about variety of topics. Obviously, they also miss each other. Kapag kasi umuuwi sina Tita Savannah sa Pilipinas, silang dalawa nimama ang palaging magkasama. Mas mukha nga silang magkapatid ni mama kaysa kay papa eh.

"Good morning Mom! Good morning Tita!" I went to the kitchen and  greeted while I'm making  my chocolate drink. "The two of you looks like having fun, ah?" dagdag ko pa.

"Goodmorning sweetie!, Na-miss lang namin nagkwentuhan ng mommy mo, hija. At napag-usapan namin ang mga pwede naming pagkaabalahan dito." Tita Savannah greeted me back. And like what'I've said, they missed each other! *giggled

"Yeah, you obviously missed each other *smirk.. By the way, where is Tito Edward and Papa? I changed the topic cause I don't want to be involve sa kung ano man ang pinag-uusapan nila.

"They went somewhere. Nanjan lang yun, baka pinasyal lang ni Tito Edward mo ang papa mo, hija." Tita said clearly.

"Tapusin mo na yang kinakain mo para kaagad na din kayong makapunta  sa new school mo, Janel.." my mom said. Kapag sa mga lakad talaga, ayaw nagpapahuli ni mama. *geez

"Yes po!" mabilis kong sagot kay mama. 

Maya-maya pa ay natapos ko na ang breakfast ko at pumunta na ako sa shower room to take a quick bath. *after 15 minutes* Pumunta na'ko sa kwarto ko to get ready.

I chose to wear plain white shirt with black skinny jeans. I also wear my leather jacket because for sure, it's gonna be cold outside. I put a light make-up. Ever since, I didn't wear heavy makeups because my skin is very sensitive.  And for my footwear, kinuha ko ang white shoes ko sa ilalim ng kama ko and I'm completely done. 

"Come on, Janel! Are you done preparing?" I heard Tita Sav kaya nagmadali na akong lumabas ng kwarto. 

"Yes po, I'm coming!" 

Sumakay na ako sa sasakyan at nandoon na din si Tita Savannah. We left my mom at the house dahil sabi niya gusto muna daw niyang magpahinga. Nandoon naman si Manang Elma kaya may kasama si mama. 

"Tita, malayo po ba yung school dito?" I asked carefully.

"Medyo malayo siya dito. But don't worry, darating din yung driver natin next week. I'm sure sa pasukan nyo, siya na ang maghahatid sa'yo. " sagot naman ni ita.

"Kumusta ang tulog mo kagabi, did you sleep well?" dagdag pa ni tita.

I remembered the dream I had. Medyo sumakit din ang ulo ko nung pilit kong kinikilala yung lalaki sa panaginip ko. 

"I had a dream last night, tita. I saw an unfamiliar guy. Hindi ko siya kilala and I woke up at 11pm. Hindi rin ako kaagad nakatulog after that kaya na-late ako ng gising and mom needed to wake me up *giggled" sinabi ko kay tita yung napaginipan ko. Nakinig siya habang nagmamaneho ng sinasakyan namin.
