Michael:
“This is the best day ever! Thank you for showing me this Mrs. (Y/L/N).” Michael said chuckling. You begged your mom not to show Michael your baby pictures all throughout dinner, but when you walked back into the living room you couldn’t stop her. She had your childhood scrapbook opened on her and Michael’s knees. You just sat grumbling on the opposite couch, glaring at the book.
You came and sat next to Michael to see what they were looking at. Chuckling to yourself you turned the page.
“Oh My Gosh. No.” You said covering your face. “This is completely embarrassing. Turn the page!”
“Not any time soon,” Michael said laughing at your embarrassing photos.
“Oh calm down (y/n). You know this was bound to happen,” your mom said frowning at your frustrated appearance.
“I just wish you would’ve waited. That’s all I ask, mom, all I ask.” You say folding your arms.
“I wish this would’ve come sooner.” Michael responded excitedly, flipping the pages.Calum:
“So Calum do you have any hobbies, besides the music I mean?” Your mom asked smiling.
“Well ma’am, I do have a big love for the game of football, oh I mean soccer. I used I to play constantly.” Calum responded smiling. “What about you Mrs. (Y/L/N)? Do you have any hobbies outside of your job?”
“Well (y/n) and I make scrapbooks. Probably once every month we have a whole day dedicated to it,” Your mom responded smiling towards you. Calum turned to look you in the eyes smiling brightly.
“Can we look at them now?” He asked pleading with his eyes.
You sat in the living room paging through the scrapbook of your childhood.
“Wow you were so cute. Like you look the same but the you don’t. It’s crazy,” Calum said intently staring at each picture. “Awwww and look at that smile. Chubby cheeks!”Luke:
“So do you want to get started on our project or…?” You asked Luke. You looked up from your science book to see his tall broad figure turned away from you, scanning your bookshelf. “What are you looking for? My science stuff is all right here.” You hopped off your bed and over to his standing figure.
“I think I found something more interesting,” Luke chuckled, turning and smiling towards you. He passed by you and back to your bed. When realizing he had picked up your childhood picture memory book you rushed back and tried to close the book. You accidentally tripped over your feet and landed on the bed on top of him. “Well at least buy me dinner first,” Luke chuckled staring down at you lying on his chest. Your cheeks heated up as you both sat back up. He scooted closer to your side opening the book back again.
“Wait!” You stopped him putting your hand over the cover. “It’s embarrassing,” you mumbled. “I don’t want you to see it.” You slowly smiled up at him.
“Well,” he started, looking down into your eyes. “I’ve got to get to know you a little better before we go on that dinner.”Ashton:
“Why didn’t you show me this years ago? After, our 1st child, you decide you want to show me all your baby pictures?” Ashton pestered you. The entire afternoon you both set apart snuggled up on the couch, flipping through your old scrapbooks.
“I wasn’t deliberately keeping this from you Hun,” you said chuckling to yourself. “Since we have little Lucy now, my mom sent over another box of my old stuff.”
“Wait here! Hold on. I’m gonna go grab mine,” Ashton said jumping up from the couch. After a couple minutes, the silence was interrupted by feet coming down the stairs.
“I got my scrapbook,” he stated hopping back onto the couch.
“And look who followed you,” you responded watching your little girl scurrying after her dad down the stairs. “Come ‘ere sweet heart.” She crawled onto the couch snuggling in between both of you. For the rest of the evening you both told stories of the goofy pictures of your childhood, of the time you first rode your bike and when he broke his arm at the county fair. And each time Lucy would laugh you could see her bright eyes light up and smile that goofy way just like her father.
