Luke:
The weight
of a simple human emotion
weighs me down
Luke never thought he could get so caught up in other people their emotions, but when you felt bad because of the hate you received, Luke felt affected too. In fact, he would actually take it to heart that people were trying to hurt you, and it would cause him to stop interacting with the fans as much as usual. It even got to a point where he didn’t feel like performing anymore because if those people were hating on the ones he loves, increasing the possibility to lose them, he wouldn’t want to reward them by giving them a great show.
Ashton:
You lost, a part of your existence
in the war, against yourself
It was one of those nights where Ashton would question everything about himself, wondering if the things he lost along the way of being in a band had anything to do with him as a person, with his behavior, or if it even had anything to do with him at all. He would remember sitting in his bedroom late at night and thinking about how much better he would feel if he got to do the things he enjoyed the most for a living. He would realize now that it does not matter what you surround yourself with, your feelings won’t change as easily as the situation will. And as long as you’re not happy with yourself, you probably aren’t going to find something to fill that emptiness with.
Calum:
The pain
it’s determined and demanding
to ache, but I’m okay
Calum had seen the comments on twitter before, but he never thought he would let it get to him. As he scrolled down his twitter feed, the anger soon faded away and made room for his true emotions. He wasn’t even too bothered by what the people were saying about him, but the fact that the messages were send with the intention to purposely hurt him is what made him feel so bad. He knew he was going to be okay soon enough though, he had seen this happen with his band mates many times before and they always seemed to get over it somehow, knowing that he too would be okay was something good to look forward to.
Michael:
And I don’t want to let this go
I don’t want to lose control
I just want to see the stars with you
Your relationship was put to test when Michael had to leave sooner than originally planned. You had to cancel your plans together and it made you realize that the people who are complete strangers to you have more control over your relationship than you do. You both felt really bad about that for a while, but you soon came to the conclusion that if that was something that came along with being with Michael, you would take it. Because in the end he makes you feel so much better and the things you share together outweighs the bad things by far.
