"Phew," I fall back into my seat after returning into my own body from healing Alexis. Healing these guys is exhausting... but if it means being able to repay them for their hard work, then it's totally worth the struggle...

Alexis stepped back to allow Andrew to sit in front of me. Andrew lay down on the bed in Jason's "room."

"Okay.... Andrew, if you can, relax... Nobody can touch you. If anything happens, Jason will be here to protect you. We won't let anything happen. Now... will you allow me to enter your mind?"

Andrew whimpers and nods his head with his eyes shut and body tensed as though he's preparing for a booster shot with a foot-long needle.

"Hey, hey, hey..." I rub his arm. "It's okay... Relax..." I whisper.

Jason's right. Your voice sounds a lot sexier when you're quiet...

Not the time, Griffon...

"Okay, Andrew... In just a second, I will enter. Once I'm in there, let me know if there is any pain in any specific area that you'd like me to look at. Also, if when I'm finished and you feel that part of you is not yet completely healed, please don't hesitate to tell me." Andrew nods and whimpers more quietly.

I take a deep breath. I look over at Jason who is taking Alexis to a bed right across the hall to lie down.

Here goes... I squint my eyes as hard as I can while focusing on Andrew. One second, I'm thinking in my own head. The second second, I can see everything through Andrew's eyes.

His pain... All of his pain is... in his eyes... While inside of his head, I direct his sight to the eyes in my body. My eyes are emitting a white light that I'm having Andrew stare into. Jason was right... These soothing white lights... They're so... heavenly, and delicate... The more I have Andrew stare at them, the more I feel each part of Andrew's eyeballs being touched by the light. After a few minutes, I no longer feel any strain in his eyes... Perfect... The tears he cried seemed to drain his brain. By looking into my eyes, Andrew's vision was restored, and the connection between his eyes and his mind has been healed. Had he continued to go untreated, he could have suffered a stroke...

Anyways, the only other pain in his body is inside of his wrists and shoulders. He must have over-exerted them while helping design the house.

Focusing on his wrists, I feel them stuck. Imagine holding nothing but a video game controller your entire life. Eventually, your hands will take shape to only hold that controller, and they will lose their functionality for the rest of life's purposes. Andrew's feel that way. Extra twisted and contorted and jutting out 60 degrees from a normal straight line from his wrists to his fingers. To straighten them out required a crackle every millisecond in both the wrist joint and within each of his fingers.

His fingers, however, I'm going to keep the way they are... Are they a bit crooked? Indeed, they are... but... they are shaped rather perfectly to wield a sword, to handle a vehicle, to lift a crate, to tug a rope, or simply to maintain a strong grip on anything! I know because mine are slightly unaligned compared to the average human being. Hopefully I'm not making his fingers worse, for I can only go based off what I notice in his werewolf form...

The rest of his cuts and splinters required simple tweaks in his nervous system. By activating his nerves with my energy, his skin was able to stitch itself back together rather quickly.

"Okay... Andrew? Are there any other injuries that you would like me to tend to? I feel like I've covered the most severe ones."

Andrew's head shook as he closed his eyes. I imagined myself squinting my eyes once again, and I wake up to find myself fall backwards in my real body. Before I could fall, Alexis caught me by the arm pits. My legs... my arms... I can't feel them... My body is drained... But I still have one more to go...

I don't know how much longer I can do this for... My vision is so messed up that one eye is looking in one direction and another is looking in the other. Instead of seeing a complete picture, I'm seeing half of the room with one eye, the other half with the other, and a blurry straight split in the middle of my sight. My neck muscles are giving out as well. I can hardly maintain my posture without bending backwards or staring down forwards.

"Take a moment to breathe..." said a voice that I didn't recognize. I must be delusional because I'm pretty sure I just heard Griffon imitating a grown woman's voice...

That's not me...

Jason?

No...

The furry paws that were keeping me standing were becoming smoother. Instead of resting my head on the furry chest of Alexis, I felt my head on a rather bony collarbone. And rather than standing with my feet barely touching the ground, my shoes are dragging on the floor, which must mean that the person holding me has shrunk... Is Alexis...?

Andrew rolls himself up and hops off the bed and gestures by nodding his head towards the bed. Alexis tried her best to lay me down on as much of the bed as possible. I felt Andrew's crooked paws assisting, keeping my entire body on the bed.

I close my right eye so that I can take a proper look at the figure carrying me with my left.

In front of me, I see a dark-skinned woman with long, curly black hair. Her womanly figure, very defined with her lengthy shoulders and wide hips. Her chest seems rather flat yet packed with power. She looks to be a little taller than I am, and her dark eyes in her human form are certainly breath taking... She is a very, very beautiful woman. Is she actually in high school?

"Wow..." I said out loud.

Alexis smiled at me. "Not what you were expecting?"

Not the response that I expected... Darn it! I hope I'm not making her feel unwelcomed! "No, no! It's not that! It's just... a surprise. To see you as a human. Also, I think you look very pretty."

She doesn't seem to be the type to blush, but her smile spoke for her as in "Thanks, I know."

My body still feels numb... But I still have to help Aden...

"Please try to relax," said Alexis who was holding my squirming body in place. "I know you want to heal Aden, but you should be at your full power to do so. Or, at least enough so that you don't kill yourself..."

"Gah..." I can't argue with that. "You're right... I just... The house you guys built, the labor you've had to put in, I-"

I felt another hand on my shin. It was yet another smooth hand, but it definitely wasn't Alexis's. This hand was a bit smaller (granted, Alexis's are huge) and a bit.... Crooked...

Without moving my head, I direct my line of sight to the person whose hand was on my leg. I notice a rather scrawny figure with a rather admirable bone structure. The hand feels oddly shaped, yet seems able to get a grip on me if I were to fly away. As for his head, he's got big beautiful brown eyes and an interesting buzz cut with black hair.

"Andrew?"

"Please," said a voice that was slightly deeper than mine. "It's your turn to relax..." he said while rubbing my leg, just as I rubbed his arm.

Iclosed both my eyes and smiled. I feel safe with these guys.... I'm just going totake a quick snooze. Then I'll get right to Aden. If he'll let me, that is...
