The stars in the sky shine so beautifully are no larger than twinkles in the dark, yet they are much larger beyond my imagination. Each star looks as though it is only millimeters away from one another, yet they are thousands, millions, and even light years apart from each other. If they were to come closer, could they create a beautiful chemistry? When the neutron stars collide, they release gamma ray bursts, the most energetic form of energy. Together, they can form an even more massive neutron star, or they can open the way for the mass-eating black holes... How can two beautiful bodies have the chance to become a greater being or the complete opposite?
In the kitchen, I could feel two smooth hands covering my eyes. My sight wasn't exactly healed, but I knew exactly whose they were.
"Guess what?" said that husky familiar voice that always brought music to my ears... I love when we play this game...
"Don't you mean 'guess who'?"
"Is that what they say? I don't know. I just saw one of the guys at school cover up their girlfriend's eyes like that. She ended up spilling her water all over herself, so he ended up getting smacked right back. When I did it to you the first time, I was hoping you wouldn't slap me in the face," he chuckled.
"Now have I ever slapped you in the face?"
I felt him raise an eyebrow towards me. "The real question is 'would you?'"
"..."
"Hey... I'm just playing with you..." he whispers as he pulls me into a hug from behind.
"You know I would never hit you... right?" I hold his arms he wraps around me.
"Eh, sometimes I question that," he said casually as he rested his bony jaw on my shoulder.
"Oh, shut up!" I say as I nudge him in the stomach.
"Oof! Hey! That actually hurt!" he shouted in my ear. When you can no longer see, you end up relying on your other senses. In this case, I wish I wasn't paying so much attention to my hearing...
"Sorry..." I said quietly. I can't help but think about the conversation I had just had with Andy.
"Is something bothering you, pup?" he asked quietly.
"No, no, I'm alright," I lied, which he could tell.
"Talk to me."
"I... I just had a conversation with Andy, and-" before I could finish I hear Jason sigh. The same type of sigh you'd do when you're rolling your eyes.
"Here we go again..."
"Jason?"
"Danny, what's going on between you two?" Where is this coming from?
"What?! What are you talking about?!"
"Danny, do you have feelings for that guy? That disgusting, despicable guy who mistreated you?" he tightened his grip around me, which is starting to crush my bones...
"No!" I said while struggling to break free.
"Liar!" he shouts louder and deeper than a sergeant preparing to execute his own men, and he shoves me so suddenly that I fall face flat on the floor and bang my head.
My eyes! They're straining so hard to see, but all they can feel is a crab on the inside my head clawing away at my optic nerves! The more I struggle to keep my eyes open, the less I'm able to see with the darkened vision I have. It doesn't help that my heart is trying to drill its way out of my chest from all the pressure and adrenaline pumping through my head. My brain is on fire! My eyes are being chopped to pieces! And my shattered heart is continuing to break into even tinier pieces!
