Last night sure was crazy... Who would have thought that returning someone's sweatshirt would lead me to killing a popular kid's dad, causing the kid to kill his own mom, and then going on top of a hill in the comfort of the same sweatshirt only to be kissed by the original owner? Guess we all go through it at some point.

I didn't want Jason to go back to his house. I didn't care if it was safe or not. It wasn't worth the risk, so I had him sleep out in my minivan. He claims it was rather comfortable, but I think he was just trying to be nice. Thank goodness that I kept him from going, though. The next morning in our neighborhood, there was a fire... 5 houses were burned down... I checked the local news (which isn't something I do often) to see if they could find the source, but they couldn't even begin to figure it out... I knew, though... Just from looking at the pictures of the houses, I could tell it was Jason's that started the spread.

Anyways, since he was in the car, I'm driving us both to school. He's still sleeping in the back, which is fine. I spent the entire night doing both our homeworks. After everything that he's been through, from losing both of his abusive parents and having his powers fully awoken, I figured he needs a break....

I didn't see Jason the entire day until after lunch when we had our study hall together. He was going on about his day, chatting with the dumb dumbs. Still glancing at his phone, I can see. He didn't notice me walk in, so I went to my normal seat in the corner and started my math homework that I hadn't finished. I explained to my teacher that we had an emergency and that I couldn't complete it last night. She seemed to understand and said that I could submit it tomorrow. I promised I'd do it today if possible. I hate having assignments lingering...

Okay... Let's see... If the derivative of the derivative is a constant, then...

Good god... I don't know if my headache is from my lack of sleep or trying to comprehend this gibberish... I mean, I know, but using my eyes after yesterday... hurts.... I feel sick with my eyes burning... Even when I close them they kill me... I wish I had eye drops or something to cool them off...

While rubbing my eyes, I sense someone walking over to my lonely island. It's probably someone who wants to know the homework for chemistry... *sigh*.

I look up, and I'm pleasantly surprised...

"Jason?"

He playfully frowns at me. "I was expecting a more welcoming response from my prince."

"Oh, gee, sorry, your majesty," I try playing along.

He giggles and sits in front of me. What's he doing here? I know I'm not the only one wondering because we've got an entire room full of eyes turned in our direction.

"Whatcha doing?" he says, as though he doesn't notice the attention.

"Um... Just some math homework, gah..." I rub my eyes again.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I just love rubbing my eyes that could burn down this entire school."

"Be careful that you don't."

"That's not in my control..."

Jason takes out a little water bottle filled with this white watery liquid. No, it's not milk. It looks more like milk and water mixed together? I don't know...
