We Were Friends (Kakashi x oc)

Mikasa pov

"Hey mika-chan I like Kakashi... Do you think I have a chance?" Rin asked me calmly.
"Erm why are you asking me...? You've never spoke to me before" I questioned suspicionsly.
"You two used to be best friends so I thought you'd know him better than anybody on the team" she explained and I let off a slight laugh.
"I'm sorry Rin I used to know him... The old Kakashi but the new one isn't someone I like" I explained as I brushed my long black hair back.
"Oh... Hey Mika... Can we be friends?" She asked slowly and I nodded slightly knowing I'm not getting far in this team without making friends.

When obito finally arrived Kakashi told him off for being late and I smiled at obito softly... I generally believed obito when he tells us he was helping someone, I believe him because Ive saw him helping people on several occasions, he's a pure kid.

"Okay team our mission is to find a cat... Name Tora" Minato explained and I nodded while everyone else said "yes sir"

Tora is recognised by the red ribbon on her right ear. She has brown fur, with a line running down her forehead with lines going across it, and amber-coloured eyes. Our mission was to find her and return her to her owner Madamu Shijimi. Each member of our team his in a tree surrounding the cat Minato-sensei made some hand signs and we all jumped down and grabbed the cat. Obito was the one who in the end was holding her, much go Tora's dislike. Tora glared up at obito before she uses her claws to scratch him up... Poor obito.

After we returned the cat I was walking behind the team while Rin dragged Kakashi and obito towards the training ground as we're going to do some group training. I smiled at how happy they were, even Kakashi had a microscopic smile on his lips that was consealed by his black mask, they were like a family. "Yo" Minato said to me with a small wave.
"Hi sensei" I muttered with a smile and he looked at me skeptically.
"You know... This may be my first time as a sensei but it's not my first time around a human" i gave sensei a strange look after those words left his mouth and he scratched his neck sheepishly before saying "what I mean is I can tell you're not okay... What's wrong?" He asked and I was taken aback a little it's unusual for people to notice when I'm not fine.

"I'm fine" I said with a smile and he placed his hand on my hair a ruffled my hair before saying "I can tell that's a lie... For one you're walking behind everyone, you didn't notice when I started walking next to you, you kept sighing" I looked up and made eye contact with his blue eyes that held so much life before I smiled as big as I could and said "really I'm fine" sighing Minato dropped the topic.

After we spent ages training I had sweat dropping of me and I was lying on the ground watching the clouds as I attempted to regain my breath when Kakashi walked past me and looked down at me he smirked before saying "are you too weak to even train" I got up instantly hand had him by his throat up a tree before I glared at him. "What's your problem with me! I don't understand what I did to make you hate me so much! Is it so hard to except me for who I am and my decisions without calling me weak?! Maybe I'm not to weak to train maybe in wasn't training because I trained myself to exhaustion!" I yelled with years rolling down my face by now everyone had stopped what they were doing and were watching us, I was holding Kakashi so tightly by his throat he couldn't get words out to answer and he was choking slightly "you're a jerk, you may be physically strong yes! But at heart? No where near at heart you're the weakest person I know and I hate you Kakashi Hatake you're father was a better man then you can ever be!" I yelled furiously before sending a punch on the tree next to his face, the impact of my punch broke the tree in half along with many behind it. Minato then pulled me off Kakashi and I looked back at him in disgust as he held his throat and gave me a scared, soft look. I then ran away, I ran faster than before as I didn't want to talk to anyone.

Kakashi pov-

I watched as my once best friend ran away furious with me obito volunteered to go after her and ran away and Rin looked conflicted before Minato told her to go.
"Kakashi... What did you say to her?" Minato asked me curiously.
"I... I told her shes weak..." I said feeling guilty slightly.
"Why? We both know she's not... Look at the damage she did just even though her chakra was pretty much gone... Does that look weak to you?" He asked calmly but I wish he'd just yell at me.
"No it doesn't" I stated as I looked at the devastation knowing even with full chakra I couldn't pull that off.
"She's lonly you know" Minato stated before continuing "don't you notice it? How she walks behind you all, all the time like she doesn't want to interrupt you three and you never see her out and about without it being for something like shopping, her family are all dead... And when She-" Minato said before being cut off my a loud noisy obito Uchiha "we lost her... It's like she fell off the face of the earth" he stated loudly.

I know I shouldn't be so harsh on her... But she makes me weak.
