"Chris I'm scared. What if he comes after us? He'll hurt you!"
"KC it's fine. He'll never find us. I promise."
"Maybe I should stay. Things'll be worse if I go too. If he catches us he'll hurt me again, then you ten times worse for taking me with."
"Come on KC we can do this." He knelt down to look at me and grabbed my hands. "We're the only one's who can."
"I know it's just..."
I looked down at the wooden floor unsure if I should go, then at Bianca who was watching us.
"Promise you'll be alright?" I asked. She nodded her head.
"I promise KC. Now hurry. You don't have much time." She said. I looked back at Chris.
"Ready?" He asked. I shook my head yes, still unsure.
He turned around and I jumped on his back. Right as he was about to step through demons showed up. Bianca started to hold them off. Chris hesitated before finally running through the portal and into the past. ~o~
When we arrived it was during the day. I hopped off Chris' back and looked around. An alley. Nice.
"What now?" I asked.
"Well if I'm right we arrived on the day of the titians like we planned it."
"Now we have to save Paige right?"
"Yeah." He looked at his watch. "We have just enough time to get there to. Can't orb or else I'm dead."
"Right." He put his hand on my back and led me where we needed to go.
As we were walking it was weird how different the city looked. I was barly allowed outside anyways but what I saw was nothing compared to this. This was pretty. People we talking and being happy.
"You remember how to beat the titans right?" I looked up at Chris.
"Yeah. You have to stay in the mannor though. Understand? I know the last thing you wanna do is be kept inside again but I don't know how bad this'll get."
"Gotcha. You'll be up there with Leo most of the time right?"
"Maybe. When I go talk to him you know you can't come."
"I know. Be carful."
"I will. You have your powers if you need them."
"I know."
"Hey don't give that sour face!" He picked me up and started tickling me. I couldn't help but bust out laughing. "You should be happy we're here." He said laughing.
"Chris stop!" I was still laughing. "My sides hurt!"
"Ok." He set me down. "Come on."
We made it the mannor and looked the same. I liked the city better in the past.
