Chris' Little Sister

Chapter 5

Chris was flipping through the book while I was looking through some other books Chris found.

He stopped the pages and I looked at him.

"Find something?" I asked and walked over to the book.

"Maybe." He started to write it down when a portal appeared and a blonde girl came thorugh.

"Chris!" I quickly got behind him.

"KC it's fine." He looked at the girl. "Hey are you outta your mind?" Chris asked uneasy. "What are you doing here?"

"Freya sent me." She said. "She wants to know what's taking so long."

"Freya?" He started walking towards her. "You know for a mythical character she sure does worry alot."

"She's not the only one who's worried. He's an elder Chris. How much longer do you really expect us to keep him?"

"Don't tell me he's complaining."

"He is, yes, alot actually."

"I don't get it." Chris said throwing his hands in the air. "Banish the guy to an island filled with beautiful women, and he still complains. I can't win."

"How much longer?"

"Until I'm ready." She looked down for a moment. "Look I'm sorry, but I havn't finished what I can here to do yet, and I need Leo outta the way until I can." She looked back at Chris. "More important, the sisters can't find him until I'm ready. Or else-"

"I know." She interupted. "We all understand the risk." Chris walked towards her.

"I'd never hurt you Mist.You know that."

"You would if you had to. I know that too." They were silent for a moment.

"Chris, KC, are you up there!?" We heard someone from downstairs call.

"You better go." Chris told her. Before she did though he kissed her.

"Please. Hurry." Then she left.

"Gross. Ok, next time, how about you tell me to leave the room?" I said. He turned towards me.

"You know, when you grow up and start having boyfriends, I'm gonna do everything you do to me."

"Ok first, Phoebe you know why that grossed me out. Two, I don't know her." We were silent for a moment. "So you did send Leo somewhere huh?" We heard footsteps coming our way.

"Quiet about it." We looked over and saw Piper.

"Hey. Do you have any laundry?" She asked.

"Uh, no. No. I'm good. Thanks." Chris said.

"Me too." I said.

"I'm gonna get your sisters though. There's another demon to vanquish."

"Okie dokie" Then she left.

"Ok. She is really starting to worry me. I thought you said she was the more strick and grounded one of the three?" I asked.

"Don't ask me."

I hopped on his back and went to get Phoebe first.

When we got there I hopped off and followed Chris, looking for Phoebe. After a few minutes we found her.

"Phoebe!" Chris yelled.

"Chris? What are you doing here?"

"Hey Chris I'll be right back ok? Don't leave without me." Then I ran off before he could say anything. While I was at the beach I needed to find something.

I looked behind a few of the tents and found it. A blue shell. It's a hobby. I collect things. I picked it up and ran back to Chris, putting the shell in my pocket.

"Are you done?" He asked me.

"Yep. Come on." I jumped on his back and we left to find Paige after dropping Phoebe off.

We found her walking a bunch of dogs. I stayed on Chris' back as he walked over to Paige.

"Trok demon?"

"What now? Can't you see I'm working?" Then one of the small dogs started hugging her leg. She just had this look. Like she just wanted to beat the thing.

We all orbed back to the mannor. Even the dogs. I jumped down so Chris could do his thing.

"Alright can we get this started because I have to-" Phoebe saw the dogs and stopped. "Where did they come from?"

"He wouldn't let me take them back first." Paige said refurring to Chris.

"Back?"

"Yeah. Imma...dog walker. The temp agency messsed up."

"Ok do you guys mind?" Chris said annoyed too i might add. "We need to summon te trok demon while he's still on our plain. Piper!"

"Oh Chris lighten up." Phoebe said. "Sending us after all these demons is begining to be a real drag."

"Yeah you're working us like dogs." Paige said.

"Trust me this is nothing. He hasn't even started yet." I crossed my arms and looked at him.

"Who's side are you on?" He said glaring at me. "Go play with some dolls or something."

"Oh sure like you do in the future AND the past?"

"KC! Go! Now!" Chris snapped.

"Fine! I'll go work on that stupid list of yours!" I said before storming upstairs to the attic.

Not that long after I got up there Chris came in with all those dogs.

"What happened? Make them made too?" I asked.

"KC I"m sorry I snapped at you. They can't know about that ok?"

"Whatever. It's your trust on the line. I only came cause you wanted me to remember?" I sat down on the couch and sat criss cross. "What's gonna happen if they start to think you're the bad guy?"

"If that happens I'll take care of it. I don't like keepin them in the dark either," He walked over and sat next to me. "But we have to protect the future."

"I know. I'll get the list for you." I said and got up.
