Chris' Little Sister

Chapter 16

"Is that the mark?" Paige asked as the girls were trying to find out who attacked Chris at the club.
"No, it looked more like a bird." Piper said.
"A bird. So you're saying maybe the Audubon society sent the demon after us?"
"Just keep looking."
"Guys, I'm telling you I'm fine, don't sweat it." Chris said.
"You sure she wasn't a Darklighter?" Leo asked.
"I'm sure." Piper said.
"What else would be after a Whitelighter?" Phoebe asked.
"I don't know, that's what worries me." Leo said.
"She's gone. Piper blew her away, what's the big deal?" Chris said.
"The big deal is someone tried to kill you, Chris." Phoebe said.
"Look at me, not a scratch, nothing."
"You know, how did she get that close to you, anyway, if you didn't even know who she was?" Leo asked Chris. Chris took a few steps when the floor began to squeak.
"We really oughta fix that, you know."
"Come on, Chris, who's after you?"
"Has it crossed your mind that maybe she wasn't after me? Maybe she was trying to get to them."
"It kind of makes sense." Paige said.
"Finally, somebody's listening. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some work to take care of."
Then Chris left and followed after him. From what I'm hearing I think I know who it is.
"Chris!" I yell as he's about to go into the bathroom. I get inside and close the door. Chris was looking at a wound in his chest in the mirror. "It was her wasn't it? Bianca?"
"KC, don't worry about it."
"Chris tell me. Please." He looked at me.
"I'll take care of it." I saw him look at the ring in his hands. Bianca's engagement ring.

(Flashback still KC's POV)

I was in the bushes, watching Chris and Bianca. They were in their spot again. Chris and I were leaving soon so I snuck off to find them
"Will you marry me?" When I heard Chris say that I went in the bush.
"You're asking me now?" Bianca asked him.
"Mm-hm."
"Here?"
"This is still our spot, Bianca. No matter what he's done to it. Marry me."
"On one condition. You and KC come back to me, safely."
"Have I ever let you down before?" Chris said before he kissed her. He was lucky, to have found love in this world. It made me wonder if I ever would.
"What's that?" A probe flew over to them and started scanning Bianca. "Chris." Chris used his powers and threw it against a brick wall and smashed it.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, I don't think it had time to transmit."
"Aagghh! I can not believe he's sending probes after us now." Chris got up and took a few steps away from Bianca. "I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch."
"No, no you're not." She stepped behind him. "You're gonna stick to the plan."
"But he knows."
"If he knew he wouldn't have sent the probe. You have to go back, Chris. It's the only way to stop them. It's the only way to change all this."

Chris was getting worse and worse. I could see it. When he tried to orb away from the house I quickly grabbed his arm and orbed with him.
We ended up at the park where Chris and Bianca used to always go. Chris sat down on the bench and Bianca walked out from behind the statue.
"Bianca!" I said and went to hug her when Chris stopped me.
"You really shouldn't try to orb anymore, you know. It could kill you." She said to Chris.
"Is that what you want?" He asked her.
"If that's what I wanted you'd already be dead. All I want is to bring you back."
"How'd you know I'd be here?"
"Same reason you'd know I'd be waiting here. This is still our spot, isn't it?"
"No." Chris stood up. "This is what we hoped it would be. This is what we were trying to preserve for our future. Do you remember?"
"We were naive to think we could change anything, to stop him."
"You don't believe that. Or at least you didn't."
"Well, I do now."
"What happened to you, Bianca? How did he turn you back?"
"I thought you were with us." I said and she looked at me, as if she were saying sorry to me.
"That's not important. What is important is I was interrupted in stripping you of your powers. And if I don't finish what I started, you'll die soon. Think of it as an infection, and I'm the only one with the antidote."
"Here or there, I am dead anyway." Chris said. "Not to mention what he'll do to KC."
"No. He gave me his word he wouldn't hurt you, either of you. Please, Chris, don't make this any harder than it has to be."
Chris then grabbed my hand and orbed us out. When we got to the manor he just fell to the floor.
"Chris!" Paige and I shouted.
"Bianca." Chris muttered.
"KC, honey, can you go get some water please?" Piper asked. I nodded my head slowly. I didn't want to leave Chris. He was all I had.
I went in the kitchen and climbed the counter to get a glass. Then I filled it with water before running back to the living room. When I came back Chris was laying on the couch. Leo unbuttoned Chris's shirt to reveal the large wound on his chest that Bianca caused.
"Oh my god, what is that?" Phoebe asked.
"I don't know." Leo said, just studying it.
"It doesn't matter, just heal him." Piper said and Leo started healing him. I knew better than that, but I couldn't say anything without giving Bianca and everything away.
"Why didn't he tell us about that?" Paige asked.
"Why doesn't he tell us about a lot of things?" Piper asked and looked at Leo. "What's the problem?"
"He's not healing." Leo said. "Something's draining his powers and blocking mine. It's like a virus."
"A virus named Bianca."
"You think she did this?" Phoebe asked.
"It's gotta be."
"Yeah, but it doesn't explain why she would come back from the future just to kill him." Paige said.
"Well, somebody had to have sent her, she's a hired gun."
"Well, we have to find her to save him. Figure out what she did..."Phoebe paused for a moment. "Whoa."
"What is it?" Leo asked and Phoebe moved closer to Chris.
"Oh my god, he loves her." She said.
"Loves who? Bianca?" Paige asked.
"Yeah. She broke his heart." Phoebe reached into Chris' hand and found Bianca's ring. "Engagement ring."
"Obviously an acrimonious split." Paige said.
"Well, at least we have something to scry for her now. You guys work on the vanquishing potion in case she's not in the mood to help."
"Are you really gonna kill her?" I asked and they all looked at me.
"Do you know her?" Leo asked.
"I've only met her once or twice." I felt bad for not telling them the truth about her, but what was I to say? Your oldest son turned his younger brother's girlfriend against us? Don't think that'll go very well.
"Well, if it saves Chris, we might have to." Phoebe said. "Ok?" I nodded my head and tried to keep the tears from falling out.
"Bianca. Bianca." Chris was muttering in his sleep.
Paige lead me to the kitchen and I grabbed a glass of juice from the fridge.
"He'll be ok." She said.
"I know." I gave her a fake smile before she walked out. I remember the day we left. I was tired when we arrived at the house.

(Flashback KC's POV)
"Welcome to the Halliwell memorial museum. A tribute to magic and of course, the Charmed Ones."
I could hear the tour guide's voice talking. Chris was carrying me with one of his arms and I hand my head on his shoulder. I wasn't sure about all this. I didn't want to go. I didn't want Wyatt to punish Chris if he was caught.
Bianca looked at me and gave me a smile. I returned it and put my hand out and she took it for a moment before letting it go.
"Please remember there is no digi-capturing, no holographing and most certainly no magic allowed while inside the museum. That's a big one. Don't worry about those probes, folks, they're merely scanning for witches. Now, as we pass through the foyer, note the family portraits hanging on the walls."
We started walking though the house, with us three behind the crowd. Chris waved his arm at the probes and they turned away from us.
"Nicely done." Bianca said and Chris smiled at her.
"Around here you'll notice just a few of the many mythological creatures the legendary sisters transformed into in their demon fighting hayday." I looked around and saw the sisters' superhero outfits are on mannequins and also a mermaid outfit. "Actually, the Charmed Ones were responsible for well over a thousand demon vanquishes before they were finally vanquished themselves." We gather around and Chris moved so that I could see what was going on, well for the most part. "Now, the time is twenty-five years ago. Imagine yourselves standing here on this floor when the Charmed Ones were reborn."
The a holograph appeared in the center of the room. It was where Piper, Phoebe and Paige were reunited as the Charmed Ones.
"Okay, what was that?" Paige asked.
"I think that means you're supposed to be here." Leo said.
Then the demon Shax barged through the door and knocked the girls down. The crowd gasped loudly and I jumped a little. The tour guide turned off the holograph.
"Scares them every time. Okay, let's head over to the kitchen where many of the sisters' classic potions were brewed. Some of which are available from purchase in the gift shop on the way out." Then we all went into the kitchen. "Of course, the attic was the preferred spot for potion making, principally because that's where they kept the famed Book of Shadows. Which is where we're headed next. A little background on the manor itself, it was actually..."
Everyone left the kitchen except for us and a guard shimmered in.
"Hey, move along." He said. I hid more into Chris' shoulder.
"Wait for it." Bianca said. The guard moved closer to us and I saw a dagger materialize in Bianca's hand.
"Are you deaf? I said-" Then Bianca stabbed him in the stomach and vanquished him. Bianca walked over to the basement door.
"Come on." She said and Chris hurried us down there before we were spotted.
[Cut to the basement. They walk down the stairs. Bianca's dagger disappears.]
"We should be safe here until the museum closes. Then we'll go get the book." Bianca said as we went down the stairs. Chris set me down in one of the corners.
"Still tired?" He asked me. I nodded my head.
"Here." Bianca walked over and gave me her jacket.
"Thanks." I said and she smiled at me. I leaned against the wall and closed me eyes and started to fall asleep, but could still hear part of their conversation.
"What's the matter?" Bianca said.
"Nothing. It's just sometimes I forget who you really are."
"Hey. You mean who I used to be, Chris. Before I met you."
"So what do we do now?"
"We say goodbye."

I was sitting in the living room with Leo and Chris. Chris was still laying on the couch and Leo was dabbing Chris' forehead with a towel.
"Hang in there, buddy." Leo said and the girls walked in the room.
"We found Bianca, she's at her mother's." Piper said.
"Little Bianca?" Leo asked.
"No, the one we want. Here, something for Chris to remember her by. Or not." Piper gave Leo the ring.
" Got the vanquishing potion so after we orb over there, I'm gonna-" Suddenly a blue light washed over the girls.
"You're gonna what?" I asked.
"I'm gonna move into Richard's house." Paige said. What?
"Are you? Good for you." Piper said.
"That's a great idea. And I think I'm gonna go check out what's going on in Hong Kong." Phoebe said.
"What?" I asked, now totally confused.
"Hang on a second, this isn't you guys. You must be under some kind of spell, you have to fight this." Leo said.
"How can you fight your heart?" Phoebe asked.
"Or your hormones." Piper said.
"Yeah."
"Very easily! I've seen it." I said but again I was ignored.
"Will you drop me off on the way to Richard's?" Phoebe asked Paige.
"I would love to."
"Paige, Phoebe, listen to me." Leo said but they ignored him too.
"Zay jen." Phoebe said as they orbed out.
"Hm." Piper said as she left the room.
"What do I tell them?" I heard Chris say. I looked at him. He was remembering when we were in the attic.

(Flashback KC's POV)
When I woke up Chris was carrying me in the attic.
"What do I tell them?" Chris asked.
"Don't tell them anything. Just stick to your cover story. The less they know about the future, the better." Bianca said.
"But what if they find out who we really are?" I said as Chris set me down.
"They won't. Not as long as Chris can pass off as their Whitelighter."
"And you're sure we won't lose our powers when we go back?" Chris asked.
"Not with this spell, that's why we need it. Look, just remember, protect baby Wyatt and you protect the Charmed Ones. Keep them alive for our future."
"Great. No pressure there."
"Chris, you know you're the only one who can do this. You're the only one who can save us. Both of you can." I grabbed the chalk and went to the wall where Bianca and I were going to draw the symbol for the portal.
"If we make it back."
"Baby, you have to make it back. If you wanna marry me." I turned around and saw them kiss.
"You really know how to motivate a guy, you know that?" They walked over to a holograph of the Book of Shadows.
"You sure you can summon the real book?" Bianca asked.
"Yeah."
"Away from him?"
"Yeah."
"But we won't have much time once it gets here. His demons will be all over us." I said and they looked over at us.
"I won't need much time. Just long enough to send you back to them." Bianca walked over to the wall and I handed her a piece of chalk. Then we both started drawing the symbol.
