its happening again.

his fingers itched and scratched at his wrist till it shined a bright ruby, his lip kept getting stabbed over and over with his canines and his leg bounced with nerves blasting through his veins.

did i forget to tell you his eyes were the darkest shade of crimson?

his love wasn't coming home for another two hours and his patiences was running very thin.

he always asked permission to go out and eat but that didn't look like it was going to happen though. he could text and get permission that way but he didn't want to disturb his precious love.

one minute turns to two, two turns to four, four turns to sixteen.

yeah, he wasn't waiting.

his fingers twitched and spasmed while texting.

ty💕
I...I need to go out and get something to eat, can I?

the reply was almost instant.

love♥️
of course you can, just don't take too long, ok?

tyler replied with a simple 'I won't'. he never does.

-

his cherry-cheeked love walked in with a frown and small tears coming down.

"t-ty?" he whimpered out while kicking his shoes off, no response came.

the living room was empty but the tv was on, tears were fogging up his vision and were threating to fall but when he heard a loud thump and groans following after, relief washed over him. tyler sat hunched by the bed with his palm pressed to the back of his head, small trails of blood seeped through his hand, "ty?"

the brunt snapped his head up and winced at the pain, "sorry, just banged my head on the table, i'll be fine."

josh sighed and got the med kit in the cabinet from the bathroom anyways.

-

"ty? i think we have a problem."

blurry, he had to come back. his voice was barely above a whisper but josh could hear him.

josh stumbled back a bit but tyler easily caught him, "whats wrong?"

his mouth suddenly became dry and a searing pain spiked in his back. the claw marks healed months before but when tyler slightly touched his back, josh cried out in pain and gripped tightly to the brunets arms. tyler gritted his teeth together, "can you turn around for me?"

josh was crying at this point but nodded his head, digging his teeth into his arm to muffle his cries as tyler lifted up his shirt.

low and behold, the once healed marks were a vibrant ruby red.

"mother of christ." tyler muttered out while helping the crying boy out of his shirt, making sure not to touch any parts of his back as he lead josh to their small bathroom and having his love sit backwards on the toilet lid.

"this is going to hurt, like a lot, but can you try focusing on your breathing with me?" tyler asked while grabbing some cleansing wipes and bandages from the kit.

he didn't get an answer but a timid nod.

tyler sighed, "ok, just breath in and out. don't focus on the pain and if it gets too much for you, tell me and i'll stop."

another nod.

"here goes nothing." tyler said with guilt laced in his voice.

tyler praised the boy non-stop and when it came to wrapping up the marks, the brunet had a huge smile on his face.

"you did so good love, so so good. i'm almost done, ok?"

it may have took awhile but tyler got the deed done, pressing multiple kisses to joshs back which got him some giggles, "stoop, it hurts but tickles at the same time."

tyler smiled, "sorry love."

-

while josh slept on his stomach to prevent any more pain, tyler watched with a voice oh so familiar lurking in his head.

"feels nice to be back, you know. now i regret leaving for five months, should've came back sooner to torture your little 'love'."

tyler growled low in his throat, "shut it, blurry."

blurry laughed.

"ah i missed this, you still haven't changed i see."

tyler rolled his eyes, "just..please leave me alone right now, bother us all you want tomorrow but just let us have one more night of silence."

it was quiet for a moment.

"fine, but this is the only time i'm being nice, so don't get your hopes up."

tyler sighed with a small smile and blurry was gone, leaving his mind more vacant than ever.

-

i cut my thumb so i had to type this with only my right thumb, you should be proud of me.
