💉pup

I've been addicted to ariana grande songs for the past two days, sweetener is probably my favourite.

a yawn parted through his lips as he stretched, rubbing tiredly at his eyes and looking around. joshua was definitely not a morning person but he also didn't like to waste the day in bed, he really needed an alarm clock. his boyfriend wasn't sprawled out like normal but joshua didn't put much thought into it, tyler was the literal definition of a morning person and always got up around the time of six. joshua always thought that was just his vampire side showing.

the floor creaked under his feet as he walked out into the living area, limping just a bit but we don't need to go into explanation why. excitement was buzzing through his veins as he spotted the brunet laying horizontal on the couch and he couldn't help himself but join.

"morning love." tyler hummed out while wrapping his arms around joshuas waist and kissing his forehead.

joshua smiled, "I'm pretty excited about today."

tyler chuckled, "I bet so."

so many puppies of different colours swarmed the heart struck joshua. the lady who brought them in the room watched from afar as joshua plopped down on the floor and was instantly snuggled by a bunch of little pups. tyler sat down to but a little farther away, he wasn't really an animal fan. joshua watched with a smile as one particular pup wondered from the group and wobbled over towards tyler.

"you're one brave pup." tyler muttered as the pup clambered up onto his lap and settled down for a nap.

joshua giggled and moved over to tyler, a literal army of pups followed behind, "it means he likes you, ty."

the brunet raised a brow, "he must've hit his head pretty hard then."

joshua playfully slapped tyler on the shoulder, "oh be quiet, not everything hates you," he looked over at the lady, "what's his name?"

the lady smiled, "we don't normally name them until someone wants to adopt them. we did name a few and the golden retriever in your lap is named jim."

joshua hummed a pet little jim on the head, "well, if he likes you then he's definitely a keeper."

tyler rolled his eyes and looked over at the lady, "we'll take him."

"oh my god you got a dog."

they got home after a little supply run and were putting everything into place when blurry showed up.

"hes not a dog yet, hes a pup." joshua stated unassumingly as he filled up a bowl with water.

blurry shrugged.

"whatever. do you think he can see me?"

joshua placed the bowl next to the food bowl, "animals can sense ghost but I don't know about you."

blurry hummed.

"I actually hope not."

as if he heard his name, the little bundle of golden fur came happily into the kitchen, joshua smiled while blurry looked at him weird, "hey little buddy, I thought you were with ty."

jim barked before looking towards the demon.

blurry groaned.

"mother of christ."

joshua laughed and picked up the little pup, "lets go see what ty's doing, yeah?"

blurry watched as joshua took jim into the bedroom and shook his head before leaving.

"oh boy, this is going to be interesting."
