haha, remember when tyler killed josh's friend ashley early in the first book?

-

"you do realize tyler killed your friend, right?"

the dark-haired boy's eyes widened behind his glasses in disbelief and looked up at the demon.

"what now?"

blurry rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"ashley? your friend? tyler killed her, actually it was me but you know."

anger and sadness instantly flooded through joshua's body and he didn't know whether to cry or to completely snap at the brunet. joshua shakily placed the book down and looked over at the demon, tears welling up in his eyes but his face said differently.

"you're telling me that my boyfriend killed my best friend?"

blurry popped his neck.

"yep."

joshua just nodded his head and slowly stood up from the couch, ignoring the pups request for food and headed off to their bedroom. the brunet was passed out when joshua entered but he didn't wake him up, sometimes it was odd for joshua to see his boyfriend look completely normal and innocent when he was asleep.

the dam broke instantly when tyler woke up dazed and looked over at him, completely hating himself for letting tyler engulf him in a hug but at the same time he needed it.

"ssh it's ok baby, I'm here."

joshua just shook his head and pushed the brunet away, getting a confused look from tyler but he ignored it.

"w-why didn't you t-tell me."

tyler raised a brow and tried again to hug his crying love but joshua only pushed his arms away and took a step back.

"tell you what?"

joshua took off his glasses to wipe away his tears before putting them back on with a shaky sigh.

"why didn't you tell me you killed my best friend?"

it felt like the whole world froze in time as joshua looked up at tyler with a hurt expression and tyler, well, tyler was just shocked. it's been months since the event happened and tyler completely forgot about it but just hearing those words come pouring out of his love's mouth had him shocked and terrified.

joshua shook his head when he realized tyler wasn't going to say a word and slowly exited the room, not even paying mind to the smirking demon as he mindlessly picked up his car keys and left the apartment.

that's when tyler spoke.

"fuck."

-

joshua sat numbly in the driver seat after he parked his car in front of jenna's apartment building. he had texted her after he left the apartment and asked if he could spend the night and, of course, she said yes. so here he was, taking deep breaths as he felt a panic attack creeping up before taking the keys out of the ignition and exiting the car.

it felt like a knife had been stabbed through his heart and he didn't know how to feel about it.

ashley had been his friend since they were kids, they were basically attached to the hip but once she was taken from him it felt like joshua was back to his childhood when no one would even talk to him.

tyler was his world and now knowing that he was the one that took away ashley from him had him wondering if tyler was only loving him from pity.

joshua hoped that wasn't the case.

-

"why in the fuck did you tell him?"

tyler was beyond furious and glaring at the smirking demon was not helping his case.

blurry rolled his eyes.

"oh come on, so what if it did? he had to know someday."

tyler growled low in his throat and clenched his fists.

"I don't know what has gotten into you lately but I'm sick and tired of it, either you just shut up and leave us alone or maybe just get over the fact that I'm with him."

blurry's red eyes grew dark and his eyes narrowed.

"oh, you wanna play that game now."

black smoke instantly swirled around the both of them but the brunet didn't back down.

blurry slightly smirked when he noticed small hesitation in tyler's eyes.

"I hope you realize what you're messing with so how about you back down and submit before this gets out of hand."

tyler growled louder but did as told, watching the black smoke dissipate into nothing.

blurry smirked and straightened his back.

"good boy."

with that blurry was gone, leaving tyler to collapse back against the couch and sigh heavily.

"what do I do now?"

but he was only met with silence.
