At first, Josh felt fine. Nothing really stood out to him rather than the constant stinging from the bite. It was then that it hit him and wow, it hit him hard. It was worse than the migraine, worse than the stomach ache, worse than anything he has dealt with. It felt like needles being pressed into every part of his body, it felt like his own body was rejecting him and god it felt like someone had set him on fire. His veins were burning tremendously and the strangled cry that left his lips felt like someone was pouring molten lava down his throat.

It hurt, it hurt so much and Tyler wasn't here. Tyler wasn't here to tell him he'll be fine and that everything will be ok. Blurry took him away minutes prior much to the brunet's disliking.

Josh twisted and clawed at the sheets, choking out sobs. Now his teeth were hurting? Josh cursed when he felt his gums pushing his teeth aside as if he was growing new ones and he cried out when sharp like fangs protruded from his gums. His throat felt so dry and the burning in his body was becoming unbearable to the point that Josh didn't even know he passed out until he woke up with Tyler looking at him worriedly.

Tyler let out a sigh of relief but stop dead when he saw the once brown eyes now replaced with a blood-red and oh my god he was going to kill Blurry.

The pain was gone and Josh could finally breathe without it feeling like someone doused him in a pool of lava but Tyler was looking at him with such worriment in his eyes that Josh couldn't help but rasp out, "What's wrong?"

It didn't take long for the thirst to kick in and Josh grabbed tightly at his throat, Tyler cursed and mumbled something around the lines of "I'll be back with something" before leaving. Josh has never felt so...hungry before in his life and it wasn't real food that was calling to him, god no it was the damn liquid that every human being needed to live. His throat was killing him and he didn't know how long Tyler was going to be gone before saying "fuck it" and finding his own food but Josh was still a newborn and he'd most likely leave a lot of evidence that would send him to jail.

Tyler came back surprisingly fast and even though he was holding an unconscious male that he most likely found on the streets, Josh couldn't help but sink his teeth in the pale flesh of the neck once Tyler had set the person down on the bed. Josh's eyes rolled into the back of his head as the sweet liquid lapped over his teeth and throat and oh my god it tasted so good. It didn't take long for Josh to completely drain the person of life and in the span of closing his eyes and licking away he remaining treat, the body was gone and Tyler was kneeling next to him.

"Talk to me, baby, how're you feeling?" Josh leaned into the brunet's touch and sighed, his thirst was gone (for now) and a nap really sounded good right now.

"Tired and an explanation after we take a nap." Tyler nodded and helps his love lay down. Newborns once transformed don't know the strength they hold so fighting with one could result in you losing and Tyler really didn't want to face his newborn boyfriend in a fight.

Blurry had lied about the whole 'venom' thing and it pissed Tyler off so much that he actually fought the demon and surprisingly won. He tried to force blurry into telling him why he did it but all he got was a smirk and those ever piercing eyes that gave him a wink before leaving.

Tyler never had to raise a newborn before and it terrified him that he actually thought of consulting his mother for help but all she would do is chain Josh up in the basement and Tyler really didn't want to relive memories that still haunt him to this day. Josh has fallen asleep rather quickly and Tyler can see Josh is one of those vampires that enjoyed sleeping. The brunet watched his love's chest rise and fall with every inhale and he couldn't help but trace the bite mark embedded in Josh's neck. Tyler couldn't believe he actually listened to Blurry but Tyler hated seeing Josh in so much pain and when Blurry told him he had to bite him, Tyler only agreed because he only wanted to help Josh feel better but god does he feel like a fool believing Blurry.

The damn demon decided to pop in as if he knew Tyler was thinking about him (which duh he did) and smirked when he laid eyes on Tyler.

"Oh come on, Ty, it was either that or have you kill him, thank me later if you want."

Tyler growled at the demon, "Thank you? Why in the fuck would I thank a demon like you? Because of you, Josh is frozen in time you inconsiderate bastard."

Blurry just chuckled.

"God I forgot what it was like to make you angry. You know, I can easily crawl into his mind and control him, right?"

Tyler narrowed his eyes but then an idea popped into his head, "You said you took care of me when I turned, right?"

Blurry raised a brow.

"Yeah, so what?"

"Well," Tyler started as he looked down at his sleeping love before looking back at Blurry, "maybe you can take care of him? I don't know how to deal with a newborn and I know you've dealt with so many so do you think we can set our differences aside for now?"

Blurry crossed his arms and mauled over the brunet's request. Yeah, he did help Tyler back then and I guess he does owe Tyler a favor since he's done so much for him.

Blurry sighed but nodded his head.

"Sure, why not. I guess I do owe you after I helped you back then."

Tyler let out a sigh of relief, "Thanks, sometimes I don't know what I'd do without you."

Blurry scoffed but smiled anyway.

"Yeah yeah but I'm not going to be lenient next time so count yourself lucky."

Blurry disappeared after that and Tyler couldn't help but smile a little. Maybe Blurry isn't that bad to have around.
