every month on the twenty fifth did laura come up and visit.
today happened to be that day.
no josh didn't know if his mother knew about blurry or anything around that matter, tyler just forgotten to tell him that.
"what time is she coming?"
"any minute now oh my gosh, tyler, stop asking that question."
ok, so maybe tyler was just a little bit..antsy. five months of tyler worrying basically over nothing but god forbid him if josh ever found out about laura knowing about blurry because his head would be on a stake.
and i'm not kidding.
"so what if josh found out? its not like he could hurt you or anything."
blurry wasn't a big help either.
tyler rolled his eyes, "i kept this away from him for five months, trust me, he can get pretty pissed."
"kept what away from who?" josh asked with curiosity as he walked into the living room.
blurry snickered.
"yeah, ty, kept what away from who?"
the brunet glared at the demon who gave him a smirk, "its nothing and it isn't important."
josh looked at both of them before shrugging his shoulders, immediately going to the door after a knock sounded.
"good luck, you'll literally need it."
tyler whipped his head back towards blurry and was about to snap before laura interrupted, "hello, tyler."
blurry was gone when tyler looked back and he mentally sighed before looking back at laura, "hey, laura, how are you today?"
"oh i'm alright, just wanted to see how you two were doing." josh easily interfered in the conversation.
tyler was actually grateful because blurry decided to chime in again.
"so far so good, when do you think she'll bring me up?"
in these situations, the brunet dug his phone out from his back pocket of his jeans and went to an app called 'writer'.
she won't bring you up because i told her not to.
he could feel blurry rolling his eyes.
"then why do you worry so much?"
because she came close to telling and i'm afraid it'll happen again.
blurry groaned.
"so it almost happened, big whoop, stop being a god damn pansy and tell hi-"
"is blurry still around?"
a loud thump sounded and eyes widened, tyler felt joshs eyes on him and he started to become very interested in the coffee table.
blurry was dying in laughter.
"oh my fucking god this is hilarious! shit you should see joshs face right now its priceless."
while josh was practically giving tyler a death stare, laura noticed the tension and cleared her throat, "oh sorry, wrong timing?"
"u-uh yeah, ki-kinda." tyler said with a high voice and awkwardly scratching the back of his neck.
"kinda?! fuck no it ain't! perfect timing if you ask me."
thats when josh spoke.
"shut it you damn demon and yes, he is, how did you know about him mom?"
tyler sighed and looked up at laura, "let me tell him."
laura nodded and situated herself on the other side of the couch where tyler sat, the brunet jumped in shock when josh decided to sit right in front of him on the coffee table.
tyler cleared his throat, "r-remember when she saw the, uh, scratches on your back?"
josh nodded and laura decided to chime in, "are they still there?"
tyler just gave a short nod, "and when she wanted to talk to me alone?"
another nod and then the realization kicked in.
josh groaned, "oh my god, tyler."
"what? i couldn't just lie again. she deserved to know the truth bub." josh shook his head.
"but why didn't you tell me! five damn months of me thinking only us knew him but no, you decided to keep it a damn secret from me and thats what piss me off." josh spat out and flinching away from tylers hand.
"i can't believe you." josh said while shaking his head and getting up, not saying a word towards laura as he headed off to their room and slamming the door.
"that was interesting."
"fuck off, blurry."
