joshua didn't return in the morning nor did he come back once a week passed but tyler didn't blame him if he was in joshua's shoes he'd do the exact same thing. the only thing keeping him sane was the small golden pup that never left his side, constantly following him and even growling at the demon when the small pup felt his presence.

at the moment tyler was cuddled up in the sheets on the bed with jim curled up next to his chest, tyler smiled sadly when the small pup gave little kisses to his face as an attempt to make the brunet feel better, tyler's nimble fingers cascaded through golden fur as a thank you before wrapping his arms around jim and closing his eyes. sleep was the only escape for tyler, most of his days were spent sleeping and caring for the pup. blurry, was there too, constantly tearing the brunet down just to leave tyler broke down crying before leaving with a smirk.

"you need to eat."

that was also one of the things tyler has been neglecting. he didn't care though, starving was the last thing on his mind.

tyler just shrugged his shoulders, kissing jim on the head when the pup started to growl towards the demon.

blurry rolled his eyes.

"such a disappointment you are, no wonder why your parents torture you."

again tyler just shrugged, not caring about the constant negativity crowding up his mind. he already knew he was a disappointment to his family, the odd one out breaking the rules his parents set for them and not caring about the punishment set his way. his mother already tortured him enough to the point that he didn't give a fuck about doing shit he wasn't supposed to do. joshua was the best thing that ever happened to him and yet he still fucked it up by his mistakes he's made before they were even a thing.

maybe this was the universe telling him he's going to be lonely no matter what.

vampires and humans were never supposed to be together in the first place but somehow joshua managed to be the one exception for tyler.

tyler shook away the thoughts and ignored blurry's words and slowly drifted off to sleep.

it was around midnight when tyler woke up to a door opening up and excited barking. moonlight shone through half-closed curtains as tyler rolled over onto his back, the bedroom door slowly opened up but tyler couldn't force himself to look because he already knew who it was. it was just a soft voice that finally made tyler sat up in his position and make eye contact with his love. no words were spoken as the brunet watched his precious boy lead the excited pup out of the room before closing the door and walking towards the bed. joshua yelped in shock when tyler grabbed his hand and pulled him into his lap.

that's when tyler broke down and hugged joshua tightly, joshua didn't say anything and just coddled the crying brunet.

it was a silent night for the both of them but they didn't mind, the conversations yet to come were put off till the next day as all they cared about was holding each other and soaking up the precious time they spent away from one another. blurry watched from a distance and grimaced at the feeling joshua was giving tyler but decided against complaining about it. he popped his fingers before slowly fading behind black smoke.

he'll put his plan on hold for now.
