Tonight is a major night for Y/N and Patrick. They're about to be awarded for being the best leading actress and actor in their recent breakthrough movie, Poets for Cats.

Poets for Cats is a rom-com movie about being alone at 30 and being in a good place surrounded by the things that you love. Then Y/N's character had a new neighbour and her peace hasn't been the same ever since the guy moved. The guy character was played by Patrick Stump, who soon turned to be Y/N's best friend in the movie and in real life.

At some point in the movie, they became a couple, but then soon realized that they both loved life more than being a couple, so they broke off in good terms and ended being best friends.

It was a breakthrough for them and they are very proud of themselves and of each other.

Y/N wore a plain royal blue dress and a pair of yellow gloves that reached until the elbows. A plain red beret sits on her head. She simply looked stunning.

Y/N's date for tonight is, of course, her co-actor and her best friend, Patrick Stump who was also her leading man in the movie.

Y/N stood outside the door of her apartment and watched Patrick park his car in front of her house and got out in a swift motion from his car.

Y/N loved the way Patrick looked tonight. He left his hair naturally flat on his head. He's wearing a royal blue blazer, a white button-up blouse underneath with a yellow bowtie, and a pair of royal blue slacks. He was wearing such a beautiful grin that Y/N find herself swooning over. He looked vibrant and glowy tonight.

"Good evening, m'lady. Ready to collect some hearts tonight?" Patrick greeted politely, reaching out his hand in a sweeping motion for Y/N to take.

Y/N chuckled as she put her hand on his palm. "As ready as I'll ever be, Patrick."

As they arrived at the venue, the camera lights wouldn't stop flashing. Patrick and Y/N couldn't stop grinning and laughing. They walked along the neatly laid out red carpet and posed for the cameras. They did wacky faces and poses that earned laughter and cheers from the photographers and the fans behind the metal barricade.

It was quite a bizarre and a surreal moment for them, since they never expected for their film to receive too much attention, heck even a couple of awards.

The venue was an open space. As Y/N and Patrick settled on their assigned table Patrick immediately pulled out his packet of cigarette and pulled out a stick to consume. Patrick glanced at the picture of Y/N that he kept just on the back part of the cigarette packet and smiled.

It was a Polaroid picture of her from one of the nights that they've hung out together while filming one of the scenes for Poetry for Cats. In the picture, Y/N looked somber as the wind blew across her, sweeping a few strands of hair on her face as her eyes caught the bright flashing light from the polaroid.

Patrick inhaled and slid the packet back in his pocket and lit up his cigar.

"Do you ever give your lungs a break, Patty?" Y/N asked quite dramatically, emphasizing the nickname that she playfully called Patrick.

Patrick chuckled, closed-mouthed with the cigar tucked between his lips.

Y/N took a sip of her champagne and snatched the cigar from Patrick's lips, taking the boy by surprise.

"Hey!" Patrick rasped out as he watched the girl dip the cigar in her tall glass of champagne.

Y/N laughed as she cupped the side of Patrick's face, which instantly made the boy widely grin as he knew where this was going.

Their eyes met, sparkling in joy and in a rush that was new to them.

Patrick gently wrapped his hand around Y/N's arm, just above where her long glove stopped.

Both of then slowly leaned in, softly giggling.

A few paparazzis rushed to their side and went down on their knee to capture every movement and the current moment that they're having.

Their smiles stayed, faces tilted, and their eyes closed as the distance between their faces disappeared.

Their lips touched.

The camera flashes went off.

Their lips gently moved in sync to the steady, strong beating of their hearts and into the strong hum of the blood in their veins.

After a while, they slowly pulled away, their eyes still glimmering in amazement, their cheeks flushed in ruby red as a smile ghosted on their lips.

I really had fun writing out and playing the scenes in my mind. I've got so much Dean x Hepburn feels.
