Gerard walked down the sidewalk, his case in his hand as he made his way home. He didn't feel like correcting anything that day, especially when he had to take care of Frank the entire morning. Sure, he didn't mind his company but sometimes he's not a very loving person if that makes sense. For example, if a kid fell in front of him, he wouldn't help him up. He'd just look forward and keep on walking without a care in the world.

He didn't have a heart, I think would be the best way to describe it. Even though Frank was growing on him, he didn't care much about it. He would kiss him and hug him just to shut him up. Was it legal? No, of course not. But did he care? No. Not at all.

Once he stumbled upon the building, he walked in, grabbing the keys to his apartment as he slammed it into the keyhole and twisted it, successfully opening the door in front of him.

His eyes widened as his lips parted once he saw his one and only brother standing in front of the door. "W-What are you... H-How did you even-"

"-Nice to see you too, Gee. A good friend of yours told me where your apartment was, so might as well pay a visit to my big bro" Mikey smiled, his arms crossed to his chest.

"Fucking Alex... But you can't just come in cause you felt like it. I don't even want you here" Gerard closed the door behind him as he walked past his brother and to his room.

"Oh c'mon, Gee. We haven't seen each other at all these past years. All we have are angry phone calls. Saying 'fuck you' after every one of them" Mikey trailed off, leaning against the door frame of his older brother's bedroom.

"I don't care. Just leave"

"Well, you're quite hormonal for a twenty-two year old, huh" Mikey smirked, Gerard staring daggers at his brother.

"I'm busy" Gerard mumbled as he took off his shoes, pulling off his tie in the process. "You always say that and I know it's not true-"

"-Fine then" Gerard angrily growled, ripping open his case as he got out a pack of papers before harshly slamming them down on his desk. Mikey sighed, rethinking what came out of his mouth. "You know, I would have actually have time for family reunions and such, but because of a shit brother who decided that giving me a job without letting me know was such a great fucking idea, I can't!..." Gerard practically yelled at him.

Mikey gulped. He hadn't seen his brother this mad before in his life. It scared him to say the least. He didn't know what to say. It was partly his fault that he was stressed and he couldn't leave. He couldn't just quit and call it a day. When Gerard shook hands with Mr. Adams, he signed up to two years of torture. He could leave once the sixteen year old's he was teaching, graduated. He was stuck.

"You want to hear something that would make this whole situation much worst? I'm moving in with you for a few days until I get my apartment. Mom and dad didn't want me staying at their house"

Gerard wanted to implode and just die at that moment. He didn't know whether he should punch the shit out of Mikey for deciding to stay at his house other than a friend's, or cry over having to pay rent for two people for those extra days. He decided neither and just stood there, trying not to fume.

"Fine... you're sleeping on the couch" He managed to say through gritted teeth.

"Okay, so in two weeks you start your exams. Study as much as you can, especially for my subject as the paper isn't easy" Gerard closed his case, hearing sighs from the students before the bell rang. "Have a good weekend. Class dismissed" Gerard said, sighing in relief. The students thanked him as they ran out of class and out into the parking lot to wait for their parents or guardians. "Iero, a word?" Gerard looked up at the boy who was packing up his stuff.

"Why so formal, Mr. Way?" Frank teased, seeing everyone had left as a smile crept up to his face. "Then why do you still call me, Mr. Way?"

Frank looked up and smirked, scoffing once his teacher cocked up an eyebrow. He walked over to Gerard and leaned against the desk. "Fair enough. But you wanted to tell me something, sir?"  Frank bit at his lower lip, still not impressing Gerard with his attempt to me seductive or sexy. Gerard sighed. "Don't come over today. My brother decided to pay me a visit so we're gonna have to skip the private lesson"

"Why? I would love to meet your brother-"

"-Sure. I'll gladly tell him, 'Oh, this is my sixteen year old student, Frank. Did I mention that he's just sixteen a minor, that means I'm fucking him illegally'.." Gerard looked back down at his case, receiving a sigh from Frank. "Just lie. Tell him that I'm your boyfriend or something. Besides, I wouldn't mind it" Frank giggled sweetly as Gerard just ignored him and grabbed his case, swinging the shoulder strap over his right shoulder.

"You think you're smart, Frank but you don't know how brother is. I'll tell him that I have a boyfriend, then he'll always ask you to come over. After, he'll start inviting you to family gatherings, then he'll force me to marry you" Gerard said, switching off the lights.

Frank frowned to the word 'force'. He started thinking about it more. He clearly said that he would be forced to propose to him one day. It could be that he was being sarcastic, but by the serious tone in his voice, he didn't know whether it was something to laugh at or not.

"He'll 'force' you to marry me one day?..." Frank grabbed Gerard's wrist, stopping him from leaving the room.

"What?"

"You said that if I had to meet your brother as your boyfriend, he would end up 'forcing' you to marry me... Gerard, I'm starting to question if you like me or not... If not, then.. w-why are you doing this? Why are you still here with me? Was all of that kissing and hugging yesterday morning just a big lie?" Frank said, crossing his arms as he shrugged, trying to to tear up.

"Frank, it was being sarcastic. The word didn't mean anything-"

"-Bullshit. Today's lesson you said, that every word has a meaning and a reason why it was said. Then tell me... do you even like me?" Frank asked, genuinely concerned about this. He wanted Gerard. Fuck, he needed Gerard. More than anything. He was alone now. His friends were all gone. His only hope for him was his teacher, and he didn't want to lose that as well.

Gerard sighed before leaning down to the shorter boy. "Frank, you're overthinking it, trust me..." Gerard paused a bit, thinking what would actually happen if Mikey had to meet Frank. Maybe he would be proud of him for once.

"...if it makes you feel any better, you could come over and meet my brother... and tell him that I'm your boyfriend." Frank immediately smiled as he started giggling.

"I like the idea"
