"C'mon, let's go" The police officer said as he undid he seat belt. Frank slowly fluttered his eyes, still feeling his cheeks damp from the tears. "G-Go where?" His hoarse voice asked. "Home."
Frank looked out of the window, seeing the familiar building in front of him. He didn't want to move. He felt comfortable in the car, just resting in his own body heat. Though he didn't really have a choice as the door to the passengers seat opened. He calmly moved towards the exit, being helped out by the man who got him home in the first place.
He walked him up to the patio of his house and knocked on the door. Frank looked down at the ground, realising that once one of his parents open that door, he had to explain everything. He had to explain where he was. He had to explain that he was 'dating' a teacher that was six years older than him. He had to explain that he was gay.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Iero. I believe this is your son" He said as Frank slowly looked up at the worried woman. "Uh, o-okay" She stuttered, seeing her son walk in with tear stained cheeks. "Have a nice day, ma'am" He lastly flashed a smile before leaving and closing the door behind him.
"Frank, what happened!?" She almost screamed as she ran over to him. Frank began to slowly pant as he started crying again. He ran into his mother's arms, placing his head down on her shoulder, just weeping away his sadness on her clothes.
"Honey, talk to me" She said, grabbing his back. He didn't reply. All he wanted was to go to Gerard and see if everything was okay. His mother sighed, seeing her son not seeming to stop at any point soon.
"Let's go to your room, okay..." She calmly said, receiving a nod from Frank. She walked with him to his room, placing him down on his bed. The younger boy dried his eyes, finally calming down a bit even though his heart was still shattered.
"Do you want to talk now?" She said, flashing a smile to him as she placed her hand on his thigh. That gesture just reminded him of Gerard even more.
Frank sniffled, nodding. "Is... Is dad home?" He asked, wiping away at his eye. His mother nodded as she stood up, going over to where his father was. Once she found him, she grabbed him by the arm and dragged him to where Frank was. "Why are your eyes all red?" His father asked once he saw his son, his calm expression suddenly turning into worry.
"I-I just need to talk to you guys" The younger boy said, his voice shaky and his hands clammy.
"You can tell us anything, Sweetie" His parents sat down on his bed. "I've been wanting to tell you this a while back but... I guess, I got scared. I just want to tell you... that I-I'm gay" Frank looked down at his fingers, not wanting to face their judgement on this whole situation.
His mother parted her lips and raised her eyebrows as she held his father back a bit from jumping onto the boy. "I know, Frankie" She said. Frank scrunched up his eyebrows, looking up at her. "W-What do you mean?"
"I was clearing up your room one day and I found a 'magazine' stuffed in one of the dresser drawers" She said, a sympathetic smile on her face as Frank turned completely red remembering the time when Gerard bought him that gay magazine as a joke on his birthday.
Though, his father wasn't too happy about all of this. He was at the edge of the bed, ready to just strangle his son. "That's just one part of the story..." He continued.
"I'm kind of dating someone. Uh, we've been together for a year-... But he's... my teacher" Frank scratched the back of his neck. "What!?" His mother said, suddenly furious. "How did you keep all of that a secret from us... So, that's why the police was at my door? That's why you wanted to go to private lessons-"
