1 Month Later
"Frank?" A familiar female voice said as the student laid in bed looking out of his window. "Frank, you've been in bed this entire month. You didn't even go back to school yet" She said, worry in her voice. Frank didn't say anything. All he did was shift in bed and sigh softly. "You have to go to school today" She said, walking over to the depressed boy in bed.
"I know it hurts, Frankie, but you can't stay in here forever" She said, sitting down on the edge of the bed. He ran her hand through her son's hair, pushing the greasy mess back, sighing. "C'mon" She said, slowly pulling the sheets off the boy. She grabbed his hands and pulled him up.
After successfully getting him to shower and dress up for school, she made him lunch and arranged his school bag for him. "Alright, if anything happens just tell your headmaster and I'll come pick you up" She sweetly smiled at him, kissing the top of his head as she grabbed his shoulders. Frank nodded, grabbing all of his stuff as he left for school.

He didn't want to go in there. He was too scared that people might judge him. Make fun of him. Bully him. He didn't want that to happen at all.
He walked into the entrance, feeling all eyes on him. The students, quieted down whenever he passed by them, passing nasty and/or disgusted comments to each other while the teachers attempted to pray for him to find the right path in life other than fucking a teacher.
He walked towards the school garden. Right where he would always meet Gerard, sitting down against the wall and talking -or even kissing-. He looked down, wanting to go back home at this point. He already hated everyone staring daggers at him or even staring at the ankle monitor on his right foot.
Once Frank entered his 'safe place', he found a group of other boys running towards him. "Hey Fag!" They shouted. "Shit!" Frank said in response, running the other way with his bag held tightly in his hands. They ran all the way out of the school again, going into the field with an old math teacher chasing -and by chasing, I mean walking- after them to stop.
"Stop running, teacher-fucker" A kid shouted as Frank kept on running, feeling his legs give out on him. "Fuck" He panted, reaching a dead end. The group of students crowded in on him, pinning Frank up to the wall. "Let me go, assholes!" Frank yelled, throwing his head back against the wall. "So tell me, Iero. How was Mr. Way's dick? Was it good enough for your gay-ass" He said as the other boys laughed.
"Why would you even want to know... Quite gay of you to ask" Frank said back, still struggling to escape from the student's grasp. "You're one to say-"
"-What on earth is going on here?!" A teacher stopped them as she ran over to the boys. "Go back inside... now!" She yelled at the boys holding Frank up. They scurried off, leaving the teacher and Frank alone. "Are you okay?..." She asked, rubbing Frank's shoulder for comfort. Frank just gulped, not replying. "C'mon. Let's go to the principal. He wants to talk to you" She said, guiding the young boy back into the building.

"I don't know what to say..." Mr. Adams said, rubbing his chin. "How long has this been going on?"
"A year..." Frank whispered, looking down at his fingers. The headmaster sighed. "What made you ...like... him" He said, gripping the wooden rosary around his neck tightly. "Why are you asking?" Frank looked back up, his eyes red from sleep deprivation. "I don't know, I just want to know, I guess... Uh, I fired him... thought that you should know that" Mr. Adams said, scratching the back of his neck.
"Isn't it obvious-... Why did you even want me here?" Frank stopped himself. "Because I wanted you to know that if you need any help or support, we're here for you. Even though you're... gay-"
"-Oh, so because I'm gay it's like I got a disease" Frank shook his head. "No, that's not what I meant-"
"-Are you sure? Cause I thought school was a place where I could learn and not be discriminated and bullied for liking guys" Frank stood up as he headed to the entrance, leaving his headmaster speechless yet again.

He sat down in the library, enjoying the silence for once. He knew teachers weren't around in the library so he could have some peace between himself. He jotted down notes the teacher had given him from the lessons that he'd missed, until he felt a pat on his back.
"Hey Frank, what ya doin' there?" A boy with dark brown hair said. "Leave me alone, Max" Frank turned back to his work, grabbing his pencil again. "Fine. As you say" He smirked, going back to a table behind him.
Suddenly, he heard giggling and muttering going on. He turned round to see Max and three other boys taking pictures of the young boy. Frank raised an eyebrow and patted his own back to feel a paper. He grabbed it, seeing the words 'Weird and Queer" written on it along with an arrow pointing upwards. He angrily sighed to himself and crumbled up the paper, throwing at the boys behind him.
"Be careful, queer" Max shouted as Frank grabbed the papers and items on the table along with his bag, throwing it over his shoulder. He flashed a quick middle finger to the annoying students, receiving cat calls, and left to the bathroom.
He got into one of the stalls and locked himself in, finally fed up with everyone and everything. He had to figure out a way to talk to Gerard. He simply couldn't take the distance between them anymore.
That's when he got an idea. He ran over to his stuff, grabbing a piece of paper and a pen, beginning to write...
To Gerard,
Hi. I really hope that you're getting this note. I miss you. So fucking much and I know it's been just a month but it feels like a year already. Today I went back to school for the first time. I hate it. Everyone keeps on staring at me and calling me names like fag or queer. One of them even called me a teacher-fucker. I can't do this anymore... I really need you. Write back if you can. My address is: 2181 Hilltop Haven Drive. Send anything back. Even just a piece of paper saying hi, I'll be fine with it. I just need something that reminds of you. I'll talk to you whenever.
I love you.
From, Frnk xoxo
