EPISODE 7: KISHINS ON ICE - FANG'S HURT AND IT'S MY FAULT

I rolled my head to try and wake myself up, but it wasn't going to happen. I closed my eyes and was about to fall back asleep but before I could Fang walked in.

"Hey, Dragon, I know you want to sleep, but you need to get up. We have an extra lesson with Shadow and Suri." Fang shook my shoulder. "And I also made you breakfast." He added.

I moaned, but got up. Fang half smiled-half smirked at me before walking out. I sighed and stretched before getting dressed. I pulled on my black elbow high glove on my right arm once I'd finished. It looked like bandages and my fingertips were open. Even at night I covered my arm, though at night it was a soft plain white glove.

I walked out and slid into my chair as Fang set the food down on the table, then sat down himself. After a few seconds he said, "You may want to dress a little warmer."

I looked at him. "Why's that?"

"Cause it is going to be cold where we are going." Fang smiled and I rolled my eyes. Even a few months, heck, even a few weeks ago his sharp teeth freaked me out, but now I didn't mind so much. I'd kind of gotten used to them.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"A small village in Northern Canada." He answered. "Where it's already snowed I might add." I moaned: while I didn't like hot weather, I wasn't a fan of cold either.

"Brr." I shivered and moved closed to Fang. We were on the back of his quad, almost to our destination, in the middle of a snow storm that had been going consistently for a good 30 minutes. Suri and Shadow were on a borrowed motorcycle with Shadow as the driver.

"Are we almost there?" I asked, my teeth chattering.

"I can't say. It's really hard to see." Fang replied.

"Brilliant." I muttered, looking up. The snow was white, the sky was light gray, and the two of them seemed to blend. I looked forward as the bike jerked and skid slightly.

"Hang on." Fang said. I tightened my grip and glanced at my teammates. Shadow wasn't having any issues, but glanced over as a loud crunch came from under the bike.

"Fang?" I asked carefully, looking at the ground. Another loud crack came from underneath and the bike jerked to a stop. A third crack echoed and I yelped as the bike suddenly dropped out from below us, along with most of the ice.

Fang managed to grab the edge and I grabbed his wrist as he grabbed mine. I swung as the bike fell and a loud cruch reached me as it hit the ground.

"Fang! Dragon!" Shadow yelled. I looked up to see him and Suri at the edge of the platform.

"We're fine. Help us up." Fang said. Shadow nodded. "Dragon first." He said. Shadow nodded again as Fang swung me up. I caught Shadow's hand and he started to pull me up. As he did Fang slipped and only slightly managed to keep a grip on my hand.

"Fang, weapon form." I shouted. He slipped with a shout, but started to glow and in a fast stream of blue energy appeared in my hand as a whip. Shadow sighed. "Okay, please get me up." I requested.

Shadow nodded. "You've got it." He said, pulling me and Fang up.

"Welcome. I hope the storm didn't cause you to much trouble." The man was in full out Eskimo gear and smiling at us. I was shivering to hard to reply, but as Suri seemed just fine she answered.
