EPISODE 11: MADNESS WITHIN - I HAVE BLACK BLOOD

Tundra was asleep on the living room floor when I walked out to go to school. It had been two days since I met Tundra and it wasn't until today that I'd get the chance to talk to Lord Death. I was still the only one that knew about Tundra.

I shook my head to clear it and get my mind on school, and in particular my lesson with Stein and Black Star after school. I sighed and took off running. In no time at all I reached the school.

"Hello Lord Death. Thank you for agreeing to see me." I smiled at him.

"Of course, of course. What can I do for you?" Lord Death asked.

"Well, you remember three days ago when I got lost?" I asked. He nodded. "Well, while I was in the woods I met a wolf, a big wolf, and helped him. The next day I went back and was attacked by four kishins. The wolf that I helped saved me. He took me home and I learned his name was Tundra. Does that mean anything to you?"

"Tundra...Sounds familiar, but I can't say any more than that." Lord Death said.

"Oh. Um... he's still at my house, would it be alright if he stayed there?" I asked.

"If you want him to, sure." Lord Death answered.

"Cool. Alright, I'd better hurry up. I have a lesson with Stein. See you, Lord Death." I turned and walked away.

"Bye." Lord Death said, kind of singsongy.

I ducked and jumped back, barely avoiding Black Star's soul attack. I took a breath then jumped at Black Star. He met me partway and I grabbed his arm, avoiding his hand, whipped him around, and threw him, sending him stumbling forward.

He turn around immediately and jumped at me. I ducked underneath his arm and moved to slide past him. I felt a flash of pain in my right shoulder and jumped back.

"Hold on." I held up a hand, ending the match. Stein approached us with a cigarette in his mouth. I touched my shoulder with my hand and looked at it when I felt something warm. "What the..." It was blood, but it was to dark to be red. It looked black, though in the dark lighting it was had to tell.

"Um....Stein? Is this normal?" I showed him my hand.

"What's wrong?" Stein looked at it.

"My blood's black." I said. Stein paused for only a second and Black Star whirled around to look at me.

"Black blood? Like Crona?" Black Star asked, more to Stein than me.

"Who's Crona?" I asked.

"Dragon, are you sure you've never met Crona?" Stein asked. I nodded. "Okay, for the moment I'll take you to see Nigus, then talk to Lord Death. Black Star, we'll have to cut it short for today. Dragon, do not leave until I get you." Stein said in such a serious tone I barely replied.

"Okay." I said, holding my shoulder completely confused as to what was going on.

Maka, Soul, and I all walked together up to the DWMA. I hadn't told them about the black blood event yesterday. A few people gave me weird looks, which was odd because I hadn't told any one, on Stein's orders.

"What the heck are they looking at?" Soul asked.

"Don't know." Maka answered. "Do you?" Maka turned to me.
