"Anything else you want me to get?" I asked Fang. He shook his head.

"Just my school stuff." He said. I nodded and smiled at him.

"Alright then, I'm going to school. I'll be back right after." I said before walking out. I sighed and thought back to a week before when I'd woken up in the hospital wing at the DWMA two days after the event in the arctic. Fang was still a little pale and unconscious when I had woken up, but he had woken up a few hours after. I still didn't know how I did the whole dragon soul attack, but I hadn't told anyone about it.

I walked by myself to the DWMA. No one else was walking that I could see, but then again we only had about 2 minutes to class. I wasn't worried about being late though and Mifune would forgive me for being late. Either way I sped up, not really wanting to be late. The walk was short, but my mind was busy. I reached the school in no time and hurried to class.

I set the plate of food down on Fang's bedside table and rolled my eyes at my weapon. He was sound asleep only 2 minutes after I'd checked on him. "Fang." I said it quietly and nudged his shoulder.

He moaned and slowly opened his eyes. I smiled as he sat up and turned back to the bedside table. I handed him the food and paused. He wasn't wearing a shirt and I could see his cut clearly on his side. As always his left shoulder had a bandage covering it.

"Alright. I've got some stuff to do, but eat up and get some more rest if you plan on coming to school tomorrow." I advised before heading out.

"Hey, scales," I paused in the doorway, but didn't look back. "Don't blame yourself." Fang finished. I nodded and walked out. In the living room I stopped and leaned against a wall before sliding down.

I sat there, quietly thinking, but it didn't last long. I was to full of energy, to hyper to sit still. I got up and headed for my room, though only to grab my shoes. What I needed was a good long run and that's what I planned to do.

"Doing okay?" I asked Fang quietly. He'd been grimacing a little over the last few minutes.

"I'm fine." He said.

"Ten more minutes and you can take more medicine." I said. Nigus had put me in charge of it so Fang didn't accidentally overdose.

"Great." Fang smiled, but it was painful. I sighed wishing I could help him more.

"Will miester Dragon and her partner please come to the Death Room?" I looked at the speaker and stood up. Fang joined me and I grabbed his bag before he could.

"Come on." I said before he complained about it.

"Lord Death, miester Dragon here." I said. He appeared in the mirror.

"Glad to see you. So, Fang, how have you been recovering?" He asked.

"Pretty good, sir." Fang replied.

"Good, good. And have you recovered, Dragon?" Lord Death turned to me. I nodded.

"Yes. But, why the questions?" I asked.

"During your trip to the arctic Suri was the one who got the soul, even though you, Dragon, was the one who killed it. So, I'm sending the two of you on an easy mission if you're up for it." Lord Death explained.
