CHAPTER 9

*Emma's POV*

It was around 2:30 in the afternoon, but it was dark because it was raining. I was close to the park I didn't care about the rain a was already crying so it was harder to see my tears. I saw the silhouette of Luke, he turned around and must have saw me to. "Emma!" He yelled running to me. I couldn't see him, the tears were blocking all my vision. I felt his arms wrap around me and pick me up, "I promise I'll never leave you." He said. I wrapped my arms around his neck, he had his arms around my waist. My head was buried in his neck, his head on my shoulder. He whispered, "Emma I- I've been going around saying this but, I care about you. I think we have something more than a friendship, Emma, I think I love you." I looked up. His face was red, he was clearly nervous, "I've been a real jerk Luke. I've made you deal with me crying and upset because I chose a jerk over you. I should have chose you over Calum. I think what I'm trying to say is I think I love you too Luke Hemmings." He smiled, still holding me high above the ground. It was still pouring down rain but I didn't care, I was with someone who cared about me and that was all that mattered. Luke set me down and intertwined his hands with mine. Still facing eachother I got up on my tiptoes and kissed him, I think it took Luke by surprise but he caught on quickly. I pulled away from the kiss, "Thank you, for everything Luke." I said. "No problem." he replied placing his hands on my face and kissing me again
