"Will that complete your order?" The waitress kindly smiled at me.

"Yes thank you." This place was nice. The music was nice and so was the ambiance.

Surrounded by humans was never a big deal. They were always in a rush going from one place to another or they always stress out about things that are very trivial.

Quite amusing to see them fluster around their lives.

While waiting for my food to arrive I took a sip of my wine while staring at the shock collar I had taken off of that boy.

This was a unique invention that I have never come across.

On the back were lots of diodes in a tiny circuit box. I needed to have this check and what it does for that matter.

A while after I had removed from that wolf, this started to beep in which I had pulled out a small screw. The beeping stop and seemed to be not functioning at the moment. Making me curious.

As much as I hated to leave the Red Moon Pack I had to for other reasons. One is this shock collar, the had the words ECHO on the back what ever that means.

My leaving the Red Moon Pack was a very hard one but I will be back once I find out what this shock collar actually does.

"Here you go ma'am." The waitress placed a tray of appetizer in front of me. I was never a big eater and the appetizer will do just fine as a regular meal.

"Is this seat taken?" Just as I was about to dig in I was rudely interrupted by a man who stood over me pulling out my chair before I could say no.

"If I said no would you leave." Though he was attractive looking he didn't give off any threat that I should be feeling.

"Actually no because I see you here come in alone." He chuckled.

"I'm sorry but I am in no mood for company now if you will excuse me I like to enjoy my food alone."

Not getting the hint he had gently touched my hand. Lau growled. Only mate can touch us.

"Please sir leave." I pulled back my hand my voice eerily low.

"Look I thought since you were alone and I am alone we could enjoy each other for tonight."

This is one of the main reasons why I don't deal too much with humans, they are very persistence and never take no for an answer.

Do I have some kind of word on my forehead that reads lonely or need companionship, I don't think so. "Actually I like the solitude it gives me time to think."

"Now what would a pretty girl like you be thinking about?"

Why am I having this conversation with him. None the less I ate my food a little too fast while he continue to talk my ear off. I wasn't going to sit here with him. I had other things to do.

Standing up, "Wait, can't I get your number?"

"You my young friend, need to take no for an answer." I smiled calmly before paying my bill and holding the shock collar in my hand.

Once I was outside the stranger followed me.

"I just want to be your friend that's all."

Fucking human. Taking a short detour into an alley way he followed me where I had grabbed him by his throat and hoisted him up into the air off the ground.  His feet now dangling.

I maybe human at the moment but I am much stronger that any human, I watch him gag as my hands were lightly squeezing, "Please leave."

Nodding his head I gently set him down before he had looked at me in horror and fled.

Finally, I thought. Heading towards my direction I entered an IT store. It was filled with a lot of software and technology.

"Excuse me I need a IT technician." I kindly asked one of the sales person.

"Up stairs and too your left."

Thanking him I made it upstairs, "How may I help you ma'am." The IT smiled.

Placing the shock collar on the counter, "I need to know what this is."

I watch him take it observing it with a hmm..."This is interesting."

"Why, why is it interesting?"

Placing it so that I may see the back he had taken a long pin pointing to its diodes, "You see this here, this kind of electronic device that are mostly used on the chips for dogs when they get lost. But I'm not quite sure if my understanding is correct."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I have to run some test but do you mind waiting."

"How long will that take."

"Two hours if you have the time."

"I have all the time in the world." I replied.

So my long two hours began sitting in the same position. I hadn't moved from my spot at all. The people who kept coming and going thought I was a mannequin for some reason.

"Miss." The IT called for me.

"I had run some diagnostic and well this is very unique."

"How so."

"Well this here if you wrap it around a human central nervous system it can act as a computer."

"I don't understand."

"Let's put it this way, these wires here say it was wrapped around ah..."

"Neck." I answered for him.

"Yes a neck, these wires will connect itself to the nervous system which then connects to the brain. And who ever is on the other side can send messages more like signals towards that brain."

"Are you telling me like a mind control from this small device?"

"Yes that's exactly what I am saying."

A mind control? To control the wolves. What kind of sick person would do that. "Can you pin point where the signal is coming from?"

"I can try."

"And how long will it take?"

"Just a few minutes but I have to turn it on first."

Handing him the screw, "I can wait a few more minutes."

I watch him place the screw and the shock collar came to life with a small beeping sound.

A few minutes later, "I have found the address but..."

"But what..."

"When I had turned this back on, it sent out a signal notifying the other side of your whereabouts."

"You mean like a tracking device."

"Yes, where did you get this anyway?"

"I found it, now if you'll excuse me oh and thank you for your time."

Taking the shock collar and the address he had given me I was on my way to where if this thing will lead me.

If there are more of these collars out there, what more if the entire werewolves were to become nothing but mindless creature.

What I don't get is how can this shock collar turn those wolves into what I had seen of the young boy.

Things doesn't add up.

I thought I would be back home just in time but now I have another stop to make.

I just hope this last stop isn't my last.
